I think they look better tonight than they normally do at MSG. I think they've shown they can get on the forecheck against the Rangers. Lundqvist hasn't looked rock solid either. He's given up some rebounds.
- PhillySportsGuy

He sure has. I noticed this as well.

Offensive skilled players usually have a knack for that on the offensive side of the puck.

No way, tickets although I haven't checked im sure as expensive as hell.

Went to the Marlins game last night, as you could imagine cheap as hell and got to see my countryman Fernandez pitch.

Nice. Just checked the box score. 10 K's, no ER's wow. Good game for him. Too bad the pen couldn't hold on.

We were in Miami last August and also took in a Marlins game. Some crazy game against SF. Was 15-11 or something like that. Was not impressed with the stadium though. Pretty boring.

I will not lie, that speed scares me. Its been evident all game and the Rangers have had the puck on their sticks far too much from winning the races.

Emery will have to continue to be strong.

Yup, very noticeable. Did you catch any of the those track meets last night? TAM/MTL was very entertaining.

Flyers are winning almost every battle behind the Rangers net. Thats where the puck needs to get to.

They will get it done. But I expect our top d pairing to not look so putrid in Game 1.

they're all really struggling getting it off the wall and moving it quickly. maybe the ice is part of the problem.

I like how the Garden all booed when that Ranger got knocked down. There's no fair catch in the NHL people.

Yeah, dude is a stud.

Horrific colors, and yeah atmosphere is pathetic, obviously the stadium being empty as hell doesn't help.

great play by luke.

raffl has to shoot that curling into the high slot, don't pass up slot shots to try to get it to the point. you have space in middle of the ice, take it

Take that period and re-group.

Not really a fan, far too much time spent in the Flyers end of the ice, and too many races lost.

On the plus, Akeson looks good even after taking some big hits and I like the strategy of trying to wear McDonagh down any chance they get.

Voracek looks angry, and Coburn had a great play rushing up into the offensive zone as well.

At least the Garden is ancient. What's the excuse for newer WFC?

I'm certainly ok with that period. I'd like to see them spend a little more time in the Ozone obviously, but their d was sound for the most part, good support of the puck, their breakouts were clean, and they were making good decisions with the puck.

Gotta chip the puck in some more. They need to exit their zone as a little more of a unit to generate that good forecheck they need.

Paging Mr. Simmonds...
