I'm hoping we take McDonaugh out for the series. Clean or Dirty. I dont really care. - GOA88
I don't want him out for the series. However, too hurt to be effective would be nice. |

Its just one game. If we lose tonight because of Emery. Mason will no doubt play game 2 - GOA88
I still think this team is fragile. Then again if we win with emery tonight what a boost it would be. |

God my stomach hurts just thinking of emery in net. We better start fast or this is going to be a real short series - Sms401
He's played better than i thought he could with a degenerated hip. His lateral movement is awful and his anticipation of shots can be weak but i think that has to do with losing some quickness from the hip. Seems to take him longer than others to get down into the butterfly after a shot is on it way.
Love the guy though. He saved our season with that fight early on. Then Mason stood on his head for a majority of the season. We forget how awesome the goaltending has been this year. If we had Columbus Mason we wouldn't have made the playoffs. |

Hoping for an injury isn't wrong. You want to win at all costs. I'm not saying break the guys leg, but hit him as hard as you can. What's the point of throwing a massive check that obliterates your opponent? It's not to seperate him from the puck. It's to send him into next week.

I seriously doubt that you have the 2 best goalies in the world. Are you sure you're not placing too much value on your team? I mean Zuccarello led the team in pts.... Personally I'm not afraid of NY. Just Lundqvist |

What I'm getting from this is that you guys don't think your team can beat a Rangers team that is healthy. Maybe this kind of talk all season long contributed to Mason's injury? *cough* Karma *cough* |

Without Henrik the Rangers are a bottom feeding team or at best a wild card team that would rely strictly on having their entire team stand behind their goalie in the defensive zone. |

I'd rather we just skate circles around them without injuring anyone tbh.
I enjoy watching G play peeved off - but that's because he's a damn fine palyer mad. Not because I want him to hurt someone... |

I was joking about Talbot, but I do think he could potentially be an NHL starting goalie. He's played great in literally every game he's played this season, although it's tough to say he could do it so consistently without actually seeing him start 60+ games.
As for Zuccarello...he's a great player. Nothing wrong with him leading the team in points considering Nash had a really off year. Don't underestimate the hobbit. Not only is he an elite playmaker in this league, he also probably has the biggest edge on our team. |

Injuries are a part of th game. Playoff series have a great deal of attrition. The idea of hitting constantly during a playoff series is to get the other guys banged up and slow them down. Every team does it. Rangers do it very well.
Ok for your team, but not for ours? |

RYAN MCDONAGH PLAYED HIS COLLEGE HOCKEY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN WHERE HE EXCELLED FOR MIKE EAVES, A FORMER NHL PLAYER HIMSELF.

He would be. Althgh he'd not say it out loud because than he'd be a hypocrit.
In the spirit of Flyers Playoff time, I offer to hit him over the head with a beer bottle, throw batteries at him, and vomit on him. My sacrifice to the hockey gods for a series win....
