It was a very, very bad call. Terrible, in fact.

But the game was still only 1-1 at that point... Plenty of time for the Bolts to score again and take the lead.

Listen. The call was correct within the rules. And for a guy doing just his second playoff game (btw, why give him a Habs game for his second game in the first place?), he followed the book. That said, sometimes the book should be open to interpretation, and this was one of those cases. Stewart's blog explains it well.
Goal should have counted in all likelihood, but as you say, there was still plenty of time left in the game. Either way, I say thank you, I accept the gift and I move on.

Oh God, yes.

At this point, all they need is the Win. It doesn't matter how.

The league loves the Habs!

So I am getting the CBC feed for these games, which is somewhat nice. The problem is, Glen Healy is sickening.

Is it me or 3 games for Seabrook seems a bit excessive?

Edit: oh, and (frank) Lucic (and Boston)

I actually think he would have gotten more in the regular season.

Possibly.

3 playoffs games is a lot. Whatever, I'm not against the suspension, just think it wasn't as bad a hit as others we've seen during the regular season. Guess that Quintal wants to make it clear that he won't hesitate to suspend guys in the playoffs.

(except that dirtbag Lucic, of course)
