Should be coming home up 2-0. Fail.
Championship teams don't cough up two consecutive, late, 3rd period leads.
The Hawks just don't have it this year.
No killer instinct, no ability to finish. - Ogilthorpe2
Agreed !! Need changes in energy and youth. |

No need for Bickel's knee on knee hit when you're out playing them with 6 min left. Seabs hit should not happen with 5 min left either... it's playing disciplined. Hawks want to "match" the Blues physicality but are obviously giving up their game trying to do so. Crow has had some great saves, but lets the easy ones in. Forwards... what forwards. Got a lot to work on or this is the PHX series all over again (hopefully we can win 2 games). Hawks play 18 min in the 3rd, gotta find it for the last 2 min. - HawksHype
Read my post above yours - exactly what I just said.
THAT is the story here. Not if the hits were suspendable or not. |

Lucic didn't get suspended for his poop so Bicks won't. Seabs on the other hand is a different story. - Dannyboy
Not the same thing.
Seabrook is definitely on the way to being suspended.
Bickell is less clear, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Hawks have officially lost composure.
They don't play like this normally, why change now?
Blues have gotten in their heads, have all of the momentum, and have a major advantage heading into Chicago on Monday.
Somebody has to step up and take some phucking accountability. Lineup changes have to be made. Absolutely pathetic. |

Exactly what ive been saying. How many third period leads have they blown all season? Thats why they have all those otl and shootout losses. No it/clutch factor on this team. |

This team continues to find ways to lose games. Two blown 3rd period leads and 2 OT losses. Toews has been really off, I wonder if he's not healthy or just fatigued.
This series isn't over but it looks really bad the way we are playing. If we lose this series it's because the Blackhawks beat themselves. We could have been up 2-0 and now St Louis will be ultra confident. It will be tough to win without Seabrook too. |

Don't anyone here call the Blues goons ever again. Hawks were nothing but dirty goons today.

Saw that the second after I posted it... Bickel was having his game with the hits, just got carried away and felt like he needed to hit someone. You can't play STL's game, they'll beat you at it. |

I don't even know what to say. And the thing is, they were playing really well before the Seabrook stuff. Just undisciplined. Also there's no way Handzus is coming out of the lineup. Just have to hold serve now and get it back to even for game 5. |

No. They were undisciplined hacks in a crucial part of the game today.

The Hawks are the team in this series who have won two Stanley Cups.
Argue all you want here today whether or not Seabrook's hit was suspendable. Here's the keys:
- Crawford gave up another goal late in a game in a playoff series
- Seabrook and Bickell's hits, both, were idiotic/moronic hits that late in a crucial playoff game with you holding a lead late in the game. Those hits should NEVER happen. Ever.. in that situation.
- The Hawks played piss poor undisciplined hockey all game today.
Down 2-0 coming back to Chicago with two of your players facing certain suspension.
I haven't been this angry at this team in quite some time. I'm FUMING PISSED right now. - CaptainBlackhawk
Crawford gave up the goal but you absolutely cant fault him in this series. Hes been their best player both games.

think it's ok to argue the merits of the hit or the game in general but classless B. S. talk like that shows no class. |

All the talk about the blues being a dirty team and a bunch of bullies. Now going into to game 3 the sweet hawks have 2 guys facing possible suspensions for being a bunch of Darryl's. |

The Hawks can't even get offense from their forwards.
- TommyHawk
This x1000. And why? Q's hardheaded determination to impose a lineup that adjusts to the Blues' game rather than icing a lineup that forces the Blues to adjust to you.
The speed and skill are too dispersed and as a result the scoring is coming from our prolific (please note sarcasm) defensemen - which ain't gonna be enough.
As a result, the lack of speed keeps the pace more even, resulting in an inordinate amount of turnovers and stupid penalties - the worst of which will see Seabrook out for at least the next two games.
You can't hang either game on Crawford either, as his team in front is short handed for nearly one third of the game, and/or they can't clear the zone without extended fire drills on nearly every Blues possession.
And the absolutely absent power play......
I think that about covers it all |

Another devastating choke by the Hawks...where's the accountability with this team. Morin, Brookbank and Regin should all be in Monday...
Seabs buries Backes...and while it's a dirty hit what do you expect after all of the cheap crap that is "Blues Hockey" |
