No it's not.
They didn't play undisciplined crap hack hockey in any of those games. |

Don't anyone here call the Blues goons ever again. Hawks were nothing but dirty goons today.
Not that I mind it. Making for a great series. - bcallaway
Hawks were stupid goons today.
Doesn't mean the Blues aren't too. |

Bicks is not gonna get suspended. Seabs, ?????
I won't blame first game on cc, but the winnings g goal today should have, must be stopped.
Key stop that he couldn't come up with, and that my friends is why he is never in the list when elite goaltenders are discussed.
Yes, every goalie gives up softies but the elite ones come up with crucial saves. |

Seabs is not dirty and he just wasn't thinking there, he needed to pull up. I'm not sure why some people think that's a clean hit, principle point of contact was clearly the head.
I understand why people hate Backes, but can you guys point out any dirty plays the Blues have made this series? By my count, we have two very dangerous plays by Hawks player in this game (the knee on knee, and the shoulder to head), as well as one team's coach grabbing his crotch. Objectively, if you had to pick a team lacking class, it's pretty clear cut.
I think that Seabs hit seals the deal for this series. Blues are going to play with passion and that woke them up. I'm sure some of you will be happy and glad to lose the game as long as Backes doesn't come back in the playoffs. Seems some of the posters here are more concerned with keeping the Blues from ever winning a cup rather than trying to grab another one themselves.
Thanks to the Hawks fans who are being objective. Appreciate the sanity in a sea of anger. |

Now this is pretty funny. After all the banish Zus nonsense of the last two days, he was one of the best Hawks today and was outstanding on the pk. |

Get lost and rot in hell with your zero cups pussbag - golfbard
Yes he's been great at times....but an elite goal tender locks it down with less than a minute left....at least in one game |

IDK if Crawford is on his angle this game's over in regulation and everybody is happy - rollpards19
And just like vs Phoenix, you can't score or put a team a way, and allow the opposing team, on the 2nd and third shots tie and win games..yeah much easier to blame the goalie for everyone else's inability to produce.
Turn back the clock day here. |

Hawks with 10 PP's these two games. They are 1 for 10. If that wasn't bad enough, they only have 8 shots - 8 friggin shots on goal - in those 10 PP's. I'm not sure what JJ saw to think their power play was a threat, but you don't get much more anemic then that. If their PK wasn't a great as it's been, these games most likely would have been blowouts. Team has to find a way to sack up, but these were two really deflating loses. They've played a lot of hockey dating back to the start of last year, so I don't know what they have left. Kane was a non factor today, Sharp had some chances but failed again to bury any of them and Toews with a lazy penalty in OT. Hawks looked on their heels right from the start of the OT, and never really came close to threatening St. Louis before they won it. |

Crawford gave up the goal but you absolutely cant fault him in this series. Hes been their best player both games. - golfbard
Maybe, but that's like being the world's tallest midget (to be p-un-c) - he's been as much to blame for being down two games as anyone: no one gets a pass here. |

So you're saying if Crawford makes the save with 6 seconds left they don't win? That wasn't a hard save. |

If I were betting id say this series is over. Just too impossible to come back from back -to-back heart breaking losses like this...just wasn't meant to be this year. Despite whatever you wanna look at I really feel like this year is a lost cause given the Magnitude of these losses. really sucks....id beAMAZED if they recovered.... |

Then put him on a 4th line and let him kill penalties. He is your 2C. Wonder what an extra goal every other game would mean to the teams success? That is what 2C's do, they get you min 40 points seasons...that is a goal every other game. So far..no goals since you were sporting your Christmas sweater. |
