Nice cheap shot.
Anyways, it seems like you have a level headed approach to this, FWIW. - EKolb13
It was just too easy and at this point in the night I just couldn't resist given some of the crap I had read.
Go Avs! ENG.

, good times! - MnGump
If we do, you'll get to watch it because there won't be any hockey in MN going on. |

You're right, a 4th liner with 11 career goals going after our best players injured shoulder is much more admirable.
The announcer even talked about how much crap is going on behind the play. The league kills me, they let all the slashing, crosschecking and elbowing go on all game long and then when it boils over they act like they can't believe it happened. If they want to stop the retaliation, cleanup the constant crap throughout the game. - kissthecup22
Agree 100%, All I want is it called across the board. Listening to the end of the game on the way home in the car... hear how St louis was not called for 2 cross checks, then Hawks get one. |

I'd be shocked if he got 4 games. I'm thinking 2-3 tops. - EKolb13
I can't see more than 2. 4 would be a bonus for the Blues. The drop off from him to say more minutes to Leddy or Roszival is significant.
Given all that I have seen over the years, my attitude this year with the Blues is just get it done. I don't care about excuses whether they are injuries, referees, bad bounces, etc. Good, championship teams find a way to win no matter what. We have to become that if we ever want to win a championship. I told a friend of mine that the team needs to find a way to survive until they get healthy or until they win it all. I'm sticking with that sentiment. |

Umm No, Champtionship teams, have luck and health.. with allot of skill. The last 5 Cup winners had that. I don't recall any of them having a major injury and winning. |

Yeah there were several plays that irked me. Versteeg got 2 min for shoving his glove in Morrows face (I think) then later one of our guys got a blatant glove to face with no call. Someone on this blog earlier wondered why Steen didn't get a roughing for coming after Seebs (we always get nailed for retaliation) and that would've eliminated the 5 on 3 and part of the 5 minute powerplay. Then with 22 seconds left Hammer got the puck behind the net and went to shoot it down but didn't get it out of the zone (we know how that ended up) and when you watch the replay, it looks like Oshie tripped him as he trying to skate behind the net so he didnt get much on the attempted clear and the ref was 10 feet away. |

Hilarious anecdote...
Just went to buy a 12 pack...liquor store owned and operated by Indian Americans, nice people...and I'm regular.
The guy working late is watching the Wild vs. Avs...I had no idea he was a hockey fan.
So I say to him..."ya like hockey?"
He says...F' the Hawks! F'n guys could kill that last 6 seconds! They're done...
I just cracked up...
Then he starts in on Seabs... - ArlingtonRob
I know you listen to the radio broadcasts. What was Murray's response to the Seabs seek and destroy hit? He went apocalyptic on the Orpik hit on Toews.

And Keith got away with a slash on Oshie's elbow...the refs are terribly inconsistent. Teams just have to suck it up and deal and find a way to win. |

Welcome back Bogie...
I did not listen to the radio broadcast today, in hindsight I wish I had. Troy's commentary is always interesting. |

I'm not saying the hit to baches was leagal but the way he plays at some point someone was going to retaliate. You put a target on your forehead when you play the way baches does |

Losing does put a sour taste in ones mouth.
If the Hawks go fast it may be awhile before I watch another game. |

Yeah I saw someone who was talking about Don Cherry going off about Keith and when I found it, he shows about 5 pieces of stickwork. I'll say one thing about Hockey players, they are the true warriors of the sports world. They shake it off and play with injuries that would keep other athletes sidelined for weeks and me lying around feeling sorry for myself for months |

Is that the same panel that also berated the Hawks for not retaliating for the hit on Toews by Orpik? |

Same here. Won't watch a second of a Blues-Avs series, although this MacKinnon kid is no joke |

Well Sota...both clubs are goin' home for must win games. We'll know soon enough if any hope remains.
I'll be pullin' for the Wild that's for certain. |

Appreciate the support. Still have to believe Chicago will make this series somewhat interesting. Time for the big guns to step up and earn their paychecks |
