Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa! My team's losing! Waaaaaaaaaaa!

I love all of the apologist Hawks fans trying to minimize the suspension. He will get two games, based on how the NHL has weighted playoff games...

Good game for the most part. Take out the cheap shots would have been better.
I'm going for the blues in this series

-Blues were nearly flawless in the first period, got away from their game plan of funneling pucks to the net and look for rebounds.

-Memo to Blues' coaches: Hawks have your PP figured out. Need to make some adjustments.

-Blues had a number of chances to extend their lead and couldn't do it. Goalposts and Crawford. They were fortunate to win today.

-The Seabrook hit overshadows the dirty knee on knee Bickell put on Sobotka.

-Unfortunately, I think Seabrook will be back before Backes.

-Blues are doing a good job on Chicago's forwards. All their scoring is coming from their D.

-The late goals have skewed how well Corey Crawford has played.

-2-0 series lead is a great position to be, but we've seen this movie before.

Backes doesn't have a history with concussions does he?

Was out earlier this season with a concussion. He was clearly out of it after the hit. He was ready to fight but I doubt he has any clue what happened.

Realistically hoping he's ready for round 2. Don't anticipate him back any time soon.

Now I feel like Seabrook is a jackass. How do you laugh after that. He could have broke his neck and that laugh would have made him look like the biggest Richard ever. I hope he laughed at least after he came to....

Both the Bickell and Seabrook hits were so "un-Hawk" like. Just idiotic and moronic hits in the most important part of the game.

In fact, I think Bickell's hit was much more dangerous than Seabrook. Bickell clearly moved his leg out to hit the opponent. Seabrook you could argue either way - you cannot argue he knew who he was hitting and what he was attempting to do.

- CaptainBlackhawk

I'm with you in that realistically I hope he gets 2-3 games but I fear he may only get 1 game. I'm also with you that I was more outraged with Bickell's hit because the intent was truly there. You could easily imagine that Seabrook made a very bad choice in trying to make a big hit, especially given his almost 10 year history in the league.

Edit: now seeing more replays, I actually lost respect for Toews with him jawing at Backes after it was clear Backes couldn't even stand up on his own. Good for Steen for telling him to shut the frank up.
I'm not with you in that Bickell's hit was un=hawk like as he has been dirty and dangerous both games. He is becoming my new Dustin Brown.

Absolutly loved the hit, Backus got what he deserved, great pay back

Wheeeeeee

Bottom line, Hawks are winning and closing in on tying the series prior to the hit.

Cost them the game, it did.

Seabrook hit was so very close to being the same as Orpik hit, I just can't see a long suspension if any at all.. My guess, he probably gets a 1 game. He did receive a 5 minute penalty.
But....
Granted it wasn't a hit to the head, but the Lucic poke check to the nads was equally as bad. So for 5k that's NOW ok to play that way? No head shots, but shots the press box are allowed?

No suspension. Backes turned into the hit and therefore seabrook won't get a game.

My guess is still one game too. I can't imagine how Lucic doesn't get a suspension for that blatant of a cheap shot. Q gets 25k for grabbing his but Lucic only gets 5k for trying to remove a guy's set? Busch league, garage league nhl as usual.

Fair enough ....first impression on the pick is not good, but I shouldn't make any further judgement based on a pic.......and yes.......I'm worried about my Kings.

Seabs was laughing OBVIOUSLY because Backes can dish it but cannot take it. Backes, Lapierre, Ott, Reaves and Jackman..... dirty players with records to prove it.

Seabrooke has never been suspended. The hit, at worst, was the equivalent of the Orpik hit. He will probably get 1 game because of the whining fan base and mooing announcers. Bickell - also no suspensions. His hit was worse but nothing less dirty than the sleu foot Tarasenko pulled earlier in the season and what Ryan Reaves pulls every night.

Blues are now the dirtiest team in hockey. The garbage and crap behind the play and after the whistle is obviously the style that fat POS Hitch is coaching. The refs are letting too much go and losing control.

What did Hitch want before the game? "Chaos" was the quote. Well, he is getting it. Someone gets hurt - it is on him.

All of you inbred Blow hards posting garbage everywhere about "the evil Sebarooke" look like two faced morons. This is your style night in and night out.

Guess what? It will not win a cup. Eventually the whistle will start blowing and you will go the way of the Canucks.
