He's part of a team that is getting beat all over the ice. He's certainly not helping and his post to post mobility has to become an obvious story line as it's how the Rangers are attacking and scoring. What makes it worse is post to post is where Mason really excels.

I get an impression that they have had it hammered into their heads so hard to focus on D, that they look hesitant all over the ice.

The Rangers are not some insanely high powered offensive team. Flyers need to play to their strength (offense) and not fear them.

Tough to do when the first penalty should not have been called at any level of hockey let alone playoff NHL hockey.
