How long will it take you to suit up?

Rangers are still overplaying the Flyers passing. They're waiting and spacing out in a zone type of defense to try and pick off and block passes. Flyers need to skate harder to get open and away from Rangers checkers. All of this becomes easier if and when a Flyer can skate with the puck and heaven forbid actually beat a Ranger skater.

Only way to beat this Rangers team is if all 18 guys outplay the other team.

It's not on G or any one guy.
Rangers have 4 lines that score. And at least 3 top level D guys. And a pretty decent goalie.
All 4 Flyers lines have to be better.

I disagree ... the Flyers have won a lot of races to the puck, and a lot of puck battles.

the difference in the game has been the penalties the Flyers have taken .. not just because the Rangers scored on a PP, but because every time the Flyers get a bit of momentum shift-to-shift they take a stupid penalty to interrupt the flow.

agreed the penalties have been the issue. they're playing a better game in terms of skating, but not nearly good enough. they need to stay disciplined if they want to have any chance.

I thought the Flyers did a decent job at skating it up the ice when the had the chance. But they're gonna have to BELIEVE they can do it if they want to win this game. I almost think they respect the Rangers too much right now.

Yup. Or make a few quick passes and change positions. The Ramgers are eating up the Flyers largely stationary pp. The only giu who moves on that set is 93 and that too occasionally.

I still feel Schenn's line is the weak spot. No body on that line is particularly creative and are easy to defend except that odd sporadic goal

Would love to see Brayden Schenn make his presence felt with a Mike Richards type clean hard hit in the neutral zone.

This is why they were trying to get Eberle. Shut G down and the whole first line is shut down.

Flyers still way too tentative on the forecheck. Definitely a factor in the Rangers outnumbering the Flyers down low and skating/breaking out with ease.
