I guess these are the elements I would have keyed in on in a blog. Anyway I do understand your frustration. |

These are elements that have been keyed in on in blogs since the series started. The Canadiens deserve full credit for their 3-0 series lead. Tampa has been very, very bad. |

It's a shame that such a great game is overshadowed by poor officiating. |

Bolts were dead in the water until that garbage penalty call on Briere and they scored on that PP to tie it at 1

The comment Cooper made this morning that the Habs had already lost 2 series after leading 2 games to none was a mistake. I think Cooper is a great coach but it's evident that he needs training in how to talk to the media in the playoffs. You can't give the opposing fuel to motivate them! |

The refs sucked
The bolts sucked
Lindback wasn't great , wasn't bad .. Same story all series
Cooper didnt have too many answers ..
MTL was good
Price was good
Therein is good
And cooper is going through the same processes that the rookies on the team are . It goes under the radar cause he's the coach , but this te has by far exceeded any expectations I ever held , and like bolts prospects said its a shame it may end so soon and with frustration because we can be better , it's still integral to development for these guys and cooper himself |

I'll disagree there. Montreal had a full tank of fuel heading into the game, if we're sticking with that analogy. It was a harmless comment. Now, if Tampa was up 2-0 and Cooper said "Montreal has never come back from a two game deficit," then I'd agree. |

So MTL coach isn't motivating Tampa by saying they know where palats injury is and they have to hit hard ? |

Hey Michael did you happen to catch who posted in this thread.
FinAddict I remember you, you were one of the two Leafs fans smoking up our board telling us how the Bolts would miss the playoffs while the Leafs would make it. GTFOutta here... you have the nerve to show your face on here after all that drivel you spewed.
I'm back (frank)ers... been a while but had some real life issues that had to be attended to so I couldn't be a keyboard warrior. - stammerman
I'm not a Leafs fan, actually I despise them. My name is FIN ADDICT. Sharks have fins
And I've never smoked up the Bolts board, I like the Bolts. |

"That no-goal call was particularly interesting when you consider a few things. First of all, notice that PK Subban effectively blocks Alex Killorn from vacating the crease. Secondly, take note of how the official who waives off the goal seemingly has no problem with the contact until the puck was put in the net. It was a delayed call. Finally, do you honestly believe that Price was impeded on that play? He had time to get back in position, and he essentially did. As nearly every reputable media personality, including each individual on the CBC crew, said, the goal should have counted. "
The refs apparent lack of interest is because no penalty was called. There are two degrees of goalie interference, the lesser waives off a goal but otherwise doesn't impact play and the more severe draws a penalty
Unlike the Olympics, contact with a goalie only stops play if a penalty is called. So as no penalty was being called the ref had no reason to "care" until the goal was scored.
But that doesn't fit the narrative so ignore it. - ght120
I should have made my point more clear there. You're right on the ruling. What I was saying is that I would have liked to see the official give Killorn some warning there, as is often done. If a referee has an issue with something going on, often he'll point it out to the player during the course of play. That's all I was saying. Apologies for not making that clearer.

Cooper is getting out coached, the players are showing their inexperience and getting outplayed, its amazing how much Palat changes a game though as they had fighting chances in 1 and 3 with him but no chance in game 2 without him.
Lindback is not the problem, not getting the puck past center ice for some reason is now foreign to the Lightning. And the D is not playing good.
Look at the regular season, the bolts did not score much on Montreal and Price so the O is doing what it did all year, its just now that Montreal is doing more then they did in the regular season.
The disallowed goal was bad, it changed the dynamic of the game there is no doubt. I don't care if by the rule its the right call the NHL needs to address the goalie interference in the off season.
Lastly booing a player that is injured, classless no excuses on that. Never boo a downed player.
I can only hope this experience leads to better things for the Bolts next season.
I hope they play hard and make Montreal earn the sweep, I would like to watch them one more time at the forum. |

Outside the first goal, Lindback had a great game. |

That, we can all agree with.
I'm curious about IF the refs did or didn't give him a "fair"warning.
IMO, goal should've counted.
But at 1-1 with the call made, it was still a "open" game. |

At the end of the day, the better team won. Lindback was farrrrrrrr busier than price.
Still, you can definitely make the argument that the goal that was disallowed could of changed the fate of the game. The better teams don't always win in hockey. |

I believe he tried to put pressure on Montreal. If I'm Therrien, I'd use that to motivate my players. My point is, Therrien must of tried to bring his players back to the game plan after coming back home leading 2 games to none. Therrien must of told the players the series wasn't won yet and now he could tell that Cooper made fun of the organization because Montreal already lost 2 series after leading after 2 games. |

No doubt he tried to put pressure on Montreal. That tactic failed, but I don't really take issue with him using it. |
