TSN.ca comment:
savedoctor
The Flyers fans here must not be watching the same game. Although the Rangers had more PP chances, Philly STILL got away with a ton of slashes, spears, jabs, rabbit punches, and holds. That's the only way they can win against the Rangers - play like 1970's thugs and hope the referees don't call 90% of it. And that's what happened. The Rangers didn't make them pay, and now the series is tied. Had the Rangers played even halfway to their potential today, they would have overcome the cheap stuff and won anyway. On to Philly. The Rangers are better on the road than at MSG anyway. - Pixote Andolini
The TSN comments are the worst. Reading past the main article isn't worth it, and sometimes even that's too far. |

I found tickets for tomorrows game, lower level for 100 a piece on Craigslist.... scammer? - flyersfan51
If they're e-tickets, you'll want to show up as soon as the doors open, as you can resend that PDF as often as you want. |

Haha look at this gem:
pens/steelers/rule
I wish the Pens were fortunate to have Philly in the first round. CBJ has just bored the Pens and even myself finding that to be the worse series in a great playoffs. Philly and Pens games are dirty, nasty, exciting and more often then not we own Philly and Sid and Geno destroy Philly. |

If this team's own fan base is so goddamn fickle when it comes to goaltending no wonder beat writters try to create a controversy where there shouldn't be one and there isn't one.
Emery did his job, came in if the starter went down and give his team a chance to win. Thanks Ray, much appreciated. Still as soon as Mason is ready to go he should be the one on the ice. |

On Stubhub, you're protected because Stunhub issues the reprints. On CL or any other 3rd party site, you can just forward the e-tix as many times as you want, and it's basically first come first serve as far as getting in.
Also, here's another caveat: as a STH, I have the option to reprint my tix as e-tix any time I want. Once they're reprinted, the "real" tix are no longer valid. I could sell you my tix, go reprint them as e-tix, and the ones you have are useless. So there's a very real caveat whenever you buy 3rd party tix. |

Yeah no controversy at all. Emery is the guy. Mason is injured. Leave it be and let Steve heal. |

No one here is going to debate that Mason, in general, has been a better goalie than Emery. My only concern is getting into a Fleury/Vokoun situation like Pittsburgh last season.
Fleury started, and was pulled after Game 4. Vokoun came in, played well and won the last 2 games. A lot of people wanted Fleury back in, because he was "the starter" and Vokoun was "the backup." But all that mattered was that the team won with Vokoun, and he was not the reason they lost to Boston. So, if Mason comes in and falters, I wouldn't stay with him just because he's "the starter." That's my point. Now, if he plays well but the team lets him down, then you have an even deeper debate: does the team play better for one goalie than the other for some reason. |

The best thing to do is to do the transaction through paypal, and then you can at least have some trace of the money being paid. |

Fleury = Pulled due to bad performance.
Mason = Hasn't played yet due to injury recovery.
These apple-to-orange comparisons need to stop. If Mason comes in and sh*ts the bed, then feel free to argue the merits. As it stands, Mason deserves the start once healthy. |

You're just creating a goalie controversy where there doesn't need to be one.
So he plays one bad game and it's time to give it back to Ray? Who doesn't even get on the ice these playoffs if Mason doesn't get hurt or completely poops the bed? |

Lets hope Berube feels the same way. Or we could find ourselves in a similar situation we did with Bob and Co.
I really don't wanna see another goalie carousel. |

And I'd actually be okay with that. What I don't want is one set of rules for one guy and one for another based on their role. If Mason says he's 100% ready to go and comes in and plays well, hey, let's roll with him. However, if he comes in and plays poorly, he shouldn't get endless chances until we're on the golf course. If he has one bad game and is faltering in the second one, Emery should get his chance. |

Well, most things involving jaded Leafs' fans are gold. I once asked a guy from Toronto what it was like being a Leafs fan. He told me that it was like being in an abusive relationship, but you keep going back for more.
I kinda figure it's like being an Eagles fan, but with less hatred of your own team. |

MJL, I thought Mason had to be bad for like 3-4 games before we go back to Emery. |

I don't think anyone advocates letting someone play poorly game after game. MJL said it best. If he comes out and doesn't play his best; he deserves another shot (or two). If he comes out and doesn't play his best, and it is attributed to his injury; sit his a$$ down and let the healthy backup win some more games. |
