I think we can all agree the shootout is going no where during the regular season. I have issue with a team like the Craps who were an awful team stay in the playoff hunt until the last week of the season because of shootout victories.

they did offer him essentially the same deal carolina did. but carolina offered the chance for more prominent playing time, as well as to play with eric.

and i definitely agree. staal was awesome defensively, and even if he didnt have offensive flare, he could play keep away with the puck.

I'm biased, he is more favorite non-Flyer in the league and I believe one of the more greatly underappreciated super stars in the league over the last 20 years. However, I agree with what you are writing.

I have to believe if the Pens don't reach the Conference Finals, Bylsma has to be gone. Maybe a new voice in the room will get the superstars to play responsible two-way hockey.

he most definitely is probably the most underappreciated studs of the last decade or so. but i believe that malkin can just physically do thinks that dats couldnt. hell, he can do things i dont think anyone could. but mentally, its just not there consistentl enough. with his size and wingspan, malkin could be a premier PKer in the league.
