this game just pisses me off, Wild played one hell of a game against us so I tip my hat to them. Yet this is what we have to deal with now
But to have one of our Best Dmen injured on a POS move by cooke, its just so deflating since he continued to be in the game and try and make an impact, hitting, fore checking against our other young stars.
But its time for Elliott to suit up and show us why the Avs were so high on him for so long. Its his time to take the reigns and light it up for Game 4. |

The forwards need to be a little more aggressive as well. You can't allow yourself to get shot at 22 times in a period and still be able to get offensive momentum out of it. |

Just remembered it was Cooke who knocked Barrie over on the game 1 Winner when he took out both Cooke and brodziak on his way down, I'm sure Cooke didn't watch the game tape and saw how that goal went down afterwards, has to be a coincidence.
I am just mad about losing Barrie....he was going to be my dark horse in my playoff pool.... |

Yeo knew what he was going to get from Cooke (who will now be referred to as "poop-stain" exclusively), he gave him more ice-time for a reason. While I don't think he directly told poop-stain to injure an Avs player, there's only one thing that can come from poop-stain. If the Wild won that game cleanly I'd be mad at the Avs as they sat back too much, but that whole thing distracted me from the Avs play. They do need to be better though. poop-stain took out Barrie for the rest of the playoffs, he should be gone for the series, but we have the bigger loss. Hopefully Elliott can step up. The Avs can't let poop-stain, of all people ruin a good season. Go Avs Go! |

4-6 weeks is actually better than what I originally feared. I was afraid it was his ACL which would make him miss part of next year too. |

The thing that I don't understand is, wouldn't the pos (Cooke in this case) who has their knee bent out be at just as big a risk of being injured as the other guy? I just don't get the reasoning is doing such a thing |

Physics. Weight * Speed= Momentum
Also, POS was flexing or bracing his knee for impact while Barrie was focused on his pass, leaving his knee limp. |
