Unfortunately, you're right about that - although I think fans are more aware at a regular season flyers game then they are at a phillies or eagles game. sixers....does anybody go?

Ive been to a couple sixers games this year. (My GF gets free tickets loaded with $75 of food and beer on them). The stands are like half full, which isn't awful for how bad they are doing, but the crowd is like 60 to 70% fans of the opposing team.

Nah but i'm not an expert on it. The TSA is a complete joke and always has been. Look at the people they hire. I wouldn't let these people babysit my children, let alone screen possibley dangerous people from boarding a flying tin can full of fuel.

I knew the TSA was a joke when they put a sign up at the check point that said no explosives were allowed on the plane. Really? I didn't know that?!

I agree with a lot of these keys. Only thing I'll say is that D to D passes are necessary at times. Especially in certain game situations such as when a team is trapping behind a line change. The D to D pass is what opens up space for a forward to get open in a regroup, and catches a team out of position in the neutral zone to set up a good rush into the other team's end. And also beats forward #1 on the forecheck. But I understand the point you're making which is if the fast outlet is available, take it and force the tempo.

I love it when people pull up their superstitions. I just like to bust chops and come up with medieval solutions to old world problems.

I dated an Italian chick who had all sorts of these weird superstitions. Salt over the shoulder, umbrellas in the house, it used to tease her unmercifully about it. I would salt windowsills and doorways to ward off evil spirits just to annoy her. We didn't last too long.
