clinic of getting some fortuitous bounces early and sitting back and collapsing in front of their own net for over 40 minutes and getting another couple of bounces with less than great goaltending.

they change nothing. all perimeter. no urgency. shoot into a pile of white all night long. horrendous effort. bad coaching.

I have a huge issue with it... It's not like emery played out of his mind... He's the backup and did what he was supposed to do, give his team a chance to win.

Mase is the starter, if he was good to go tonight he should've been playing from the start. You don't lose your "job" even if it's for 1 game because of injury.

Just to be clear, not saying the reason they lost tonight was because of Emery like some nutjobs in here, but if he's ready to go Mase has to be starting this game, imo.

They've been protecting Kimmo with lower minutes since acquiring MacDonald. The d core needs a puck carrier who has some skill. Obviously, he isn't on the roster right now. I hope and believe he is in the organization.

Mason came in when the game was meaningless... I could see a situation where he's good enough to backup (over Cal Heeter) but not comfortable starting. We still don't know what the injury even was right? Just speculation?
