They're trying to address the defense the only way possible these days... via the draft. Who will get impatient first waiting for them to develop? The organization or the fans? - eayost
i want them to actually develop their players. I think its proven that constantly trying to pick one from another team isn't going to get it done anymore without completely gutting your team/future someplace else.
Personally, I think the organization is too quick to give up on their youth because they are so geared towards winning now as opposed to winning in 2-3 years from now. |

It occurred to me the other day... Its almost 7 years since the conclusion of '07... And the two years after that we got bounced by pittsburgh where it became morbidly obvious this team needs a dman who can move the puck out of the zone... If they employed the appropriate strategy of drafting one then, we would have one now. |

The Rangers played better than the Flyers did tonight. That wasn't Game 7 and it's not the end of the world.
The Flyers will get a boost when Mason comes back and they'll take Game 4.

I would be more calm if this game wasn't a textbook Rangers/Flyers game. The same game we have seen for going on 5 years.
The real problem was that I had to keep checking that they were actually playing in Philly, because it sure felt like a Rangers home game to me.
This team is obviously insane, because they keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
They were never in the game from the opening whistle. And is what really pisses me off.

Rangers adjustment consisted of them playing their B- game instead of C- game. Bam 4-1 win.
Flyers are passengers in this series - Just5

It's not over by any stretch....the Flyers have yet to hit the the high gear...if they can the series is very winnable.

It was a weird season from the get go . One thing I can look forward to next year, even if this series is the end of this season, is to develop more consistency. Haven't had much of that this season, and it's showing in the playoffs. |

could have drafted john carlson, but they set their sights on emminger.
For that alone, Homer should have been let go |

this.
choppy slop in the early going and a garbage goal. i knew right then the game would never turn. the sad part is it's all so (frank)ing predictable. i shouldn't even be mad. |

Exactly, soon as it was 3-1,
You knew the game was over... Tighten the bottle and get into bed, the flyers were done... It's not hard to see effort |

Of the homer era is to end, then i want a complete revamp of that front office. Time to totally clean house imo. Are they the islanders? No but this market is big enough that they should have iced at least one cup winner in the last 3rd of a century. |
