If it weren't a religious wedding, we'd be pursuing Jaromir Jagr as the officiant. - BulliesPhan87
Religion is no reason to not pursue him as an officiant.
The pastor who did my wedding made me promise to honor and cherish, to have and to hold, for richer for poorer, whether the Flyers play well or poorly... |

Weddings suck. I'm planning one now. I wish I could have a destination wedding and not pay for anyone. It would weed out the ones who really aren't committed. - PhillySportsGuy
Ignoring planning mine. But it's definately a destination wedding for me. We'll have a big party when we get back for everyone who just wants an excuse to drink. |

You and me both, though I can still remember my Dad, as soon as he saw the red carpet, saying to me, Kate Smith's here, we got this one! - BiggE
She was money, but I was still nervous. |

I worked at a restaurant he frequented in Old City. I don't think he would have been the most faithful companion. - PhillySportsGuy

Oh ok... The financial aspect is the least of these players concerns. I think Cooke should be out of the NHL. He's a complete POS. - PLindbergh31

Marriage is kinda like binge drinking. It's fun for a little while, but then you feel like poop for a very long time! - BiggE
That's what divorce is for. Believe me, if you feel like poop, she does too, whether she admits it or not. Free yourself and your kids from a toxic situation. |

Went to a dry wedding once... bride and groom were in some kind of strict cult... brought an aquafina bottle full of vodka... our table was the only one having any fun, lol. - Tomahawk

Divorce is all fine and dandy, but I have become rather fond of the other half of my stuff. - landros 2
I've been divorced.
As a comedian once said, it's like having your wallet and your heart simultaneously removed through your testicles.
I don't recommend it. |

Jaro is very religious. Was baptized in the 2001. Came to it late and is very devout. |

yo, section 221 tonight!! stoked!
ONLY PROBLEM is that i'm coming off a dumb throat infection and my Dr. told me to "shut the voice down" for the week. i guess i'll just be banging my fists in the air and...clapping?...really loud!?
me and my buddy really want to go all out Legion of Doom style with spiked shoulder pads and stuff and fake razor wings!!! seems pretty hard work and would most likely rather just drink the bag of beers i bring on the subway. - eshake
If they are handing out the folding cardboard things, get one of those, you fold them like a fan and use one to clap against your other hand. Much louder than clapping hands. I've had to be silent in the past because playoffs came in holiday singing season. This year, no problem. |

Yeah, after buying HC Kladno, he changed their logo from a bulldog to this:

Under these new rules, I don't think he would be considered a repeat offender. That was a disgrace what he did. Guy should be out of the League.
I don't care what anyone says, what he did to Erik Karlsson was intentional. Not to mention his blatant head shot ended Marc Savard's career. - PLindbergh31
I asked about this once and was told that that only applies to the fines involved. For suspensions they are apparently allowed to look at a player's entire career. |

This has me sweating bullets... when/if Hank turns it on, the Flyers could be in trouble if they don't significantly improve their play over the first two games. - Tomahawk
Same could be said about Clode Giroux, no? |

Met my wife while working a summer job in Alaska. Her family was from Spokane WA.
We had the wedding there. About 250 people came. I knew about 10 of them. My parents and my brother and my best man were the only ones who came out from Philly. The rest were her family and friends from Washington and Idaho. Good times.
Her dad gave us first class tickets to Hawaii for the honeymoon so that was pretty great. |

LOL
My wife has kept me around for 22 years, so I must be doing something right!
All kidding aside, a sense of humor is priceless. I've been making her laugh since we met (and no, I'm not talking about the first time she saw me in the buff!), and it can work wonders for a good relationship.
Of course the fact that I'm adorable, charming and irresistible doesn't hurt either!

Lecavalier has looked better since moving back to C. I do worry about him in the defensive zone. Not one of his strengths. |
