I have been spending too much time around Leafs fans. They make you awful. Sorry.

would like to see a clip of the hit again, (if anyone has it, I'm sure someone does) there's no doubt smith sticks his knee out to make contact, ..maybe.. (playing devils advocate) maybe he landed on the other knee, I'd have to see it again, I dont think he faked flying in the air.
I also like the "non call" when he tried to go around cronwell and got swatted down, good play by him. Ref's did a good job of staying out of the way last night for the most part. Let the little stuff go on both sides.

They should let the little stuff go. Last night was good and I would like to see more of the referees not being the spotlight of a game. Marchand totally embellished and I (frank)ing hate it. He is a wussy for doing that.

They were Electric in the first 10 minutes of every game (even more at home), that is such a momentum changer, That def is a concern for whomever plays them.

According to Marchand it was the way he came down that caused the discomfort in his right leg versus the left which was the impact leg.

the fact is, Emelin has a metal plate in his face. he can't fight, it's too risky. now if you think that he shouldn't be able to hit because he doesn't fight, that's your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it. but this theory that you can't play physical if you're not going to fight is antiquated, and the entire NHL has moved on from it.

and i'm not going to point out the ridiculous irony of a player who hits guys in the nuts from behind referring to another player as "chicken". Lucic got layed out last game. tag the guy back the same way, or shut the (frank) up. don't whine like a little girl in the media.

Nice spin. Dennis Seidenberg plays a physical game without being an bumhole. So being physical deosn't mean playing like emelin. Lucic has to get control of his temper that I will say about him otherwise the book is out on out Lucic. If you don't want trouble...don't ask for it.
