Yup.
I'm just not ready to jump off the Ben Franklin because of last night.

Fortunately, I do think staying calm is one of Berube's strengths as a coach, so hopefully, the team remains calm (unlike the fans) and executes on Friday. I really think they will. - johndewar
I think so as well. What makes the Rangers a difficult match up is that their second and third pairing d-men are, by no means, slouches--which makes it difficult for any top 3 line to get going.
Berube has been quick to implement subtle/minor changes based upon what his opponents are doing--as evidenced by the improved neutral zone play from game 1 to 2, and the increased puck control from games 1-2 to game 3.
Almost overnight, he changed a team from Laviolette's run-n-gun to a team that tried to win 1-0, 2-1. So--if there are changes to be made, I think he'll carve out adjustments with a scalpel, not tear and hack at the problems with a butcher's knife. |

Exactly -- let's just see what Berube does in Game 4
Doubt he's gonna roll four lines all night -- I'd bet a paycheck we're going to see double-shifting, changes on the fly, as he tries to create a little more speed on the attack

Complaining that G said he wants to go back to NY 2-2.
Now I've seen it all. |

Wow. Haven't caught any of the Anaheim series. Has his play dropped off in the series? |

He should just shut up and try harder and shoot when the guy in section 132 row 2 seat 11 with the two beers says so. |

6SOG in 3 games... some of the Flyers F's would kill for that kind of stat-line in this series. |

Always liked Teemu. I hope the scratch doesn't become a playoff trend--as I'd hate to think I missed his last NHL game. |

Berube HAS to make a change in the flyers game. The Rangers again last night blocked 29 shots....shots from the point are not working. They have to spread the NY D out and create better shooting lanes. They also need to start dumping the puck with a purpose... They dump but nobody retrieves it. It's just picked up by a ranger d-man and out of the zone it goes. It's been way to easy for the Ranger defence. If they do not figure something out soon it will just be another disappointing flyer season. - RobFlyers#1
i say we come out next game and just start a line brawl get poop going! |

So a video-review practice day.
Assuming we see no gameplan changes and the same approach to game 4.
Way to go Craig. |

No, that Boudreau is an bumhole.
This is actually enraging to me. You know what? Some things are more important than militantly winning. |

You (frank)in serious?
What if they're watching video to see exactly what needs to change in the game plan. What works amd what doesn't. That's what watching film is for. |

Video-review can go a long way to recognizing patterns, holes, seams, etc.
If getting shots through is the issue in the O zone -- then seeing where open lanes are on video is quite a useful thing.
More effective, then, say, telling guys to shoot harder slapshots at Ranger shin pads. |

Winning is the objective. If he's ineffective scratch him and see what happens.
Don't play a dude with your season on the line just because it's teemu |

If they are watching video to change how they play the game without trying it on the ice, that's kind of comical if you ask me. |

Of course it is, because you run with any sort of thread you can spin into how Berube is the worst thing that's happened to the Flyers since Desjardins got hurt. |
