Judging that Chief kept his course of wanting to punch JR in the jaw for 10+ years, I'd say it's say a day isn't enough for him to budge.

But, honestly...I'd be down with it.

Actually, most do understand that, which is why they use more than one stat. They look at a wide array of them, and look at what a player's teammates do with & with him on the ice, to gain a more complete picture.

In other words, if one player has terrible metrics, it's a part of the picture. But if he has bad metrics, and every other guy has worse metrics with him on the ice than without, it's a pretty telling trend. Either that guy is the unluckiest bastard alive or he's not playing an especially good possession game.

And yes, possession is not the end all be all. Nobody says it is, & they limit a blog post to CF or Fenwick, it's for brevity's sake, not that they only looked at those particular numbers, to avoid readers eyes glazing over.

It's not to open a can of worms, but you seem to misunderstand how people use stats

Looking at more then one stat, cannot remove the flaws of the data of Corsi. It's impossible. As much as they try and isolate the data to one player, it cannot be done. It's all about the data. Garbage in, garbage out. And I've illustrated repeatedly, over a long period of time, that I understand perfectly how the stats are misused, and are used in poor context.

I love that flight.....always about the Flyers and Eagles games I guess....20 $ cab to the Holiday Inn stadium....4 minute walk to Chickey and Pete's and a bar stool with my name on it.....

Ha okay so we don't have verified info that he won't play tomorrow, but seeing as he probably won't even get in one practice before the game tomorrow, I doubt he'll play over someone who's already on the same page as the rest of the team.
