also please no more posting of Stewart blogs. Any credibility he may have had was lost when he blogged about a 19-year-old Eric Lindros not being friendly to him and openly admitting to making biased calls/non-calls involving him for the rest of his career as a result.

I found it to be informative. I don't agree with a lot of stuff he writes, especially calling out others personally who aren't aware, or don't have the forum to respond. But I agree with his take on this subject.

Lets all be clear on this:

Clarkson was an incredibly unlucky player who was thrown into a poopstorm of a hockey team based on advanced stats this year after signing a contract that was clearly more than he was worth.

This does not prove or disprove anything about advanced stats. It's a single data point with no context and merely an easy target for those who don't care to see the value in them.
