Of course. Politics and physical appearance should have nothing to do with one another... but to say there's a double standard between liberal and conservative female candidates is inaccurate. The language used to describe women in politics in general is sexist... almost always talking about appearance over policy.
It's just funny seeing conservatives complaining about it, especially on fox, of all stations. Especially when you consider that The View is just an entertainment platform, not a news source, like Fox pretends to be.

Yeah, no women use the information they see on the View when deciding who to vote for, they're just as good as young people, who watch the Daily Show, from discerning comedy and entertainment shows, from more serious political shows.
It never affects their image of someone, when they're continually mocked on these types of shows, that are dominated with left wing progressives.

I'm not saying that doesn't happen.
I'm just saying it's far less of an issue than, say, fox "news" devoting months of broadcasting time to try and figure out if Obama was a big bad scary muslim or not.

Just like the CBC spending the last decade warning us of the CPC's "Secret agenda" eh?

In fairness, it's not like the oil industry is taking (or asking for) a bunch of (frank)ing bailouts like the auto industry did or Bombardier is... again...

Doesn't matter. You need a diverse economy to survive... and that depends a lot on innovation.
Guess what got slashed so that Harper could attack Trudeau about deficits, without running a deficit himself?

1. Name one International trade agreement that was negotiated publicity.
don't bother, you can't because it has never happened. Fell for that one did you?
2. Your boy Trudeau voted for The draconian bill C-51 too.
WHoops!!!
3. The "all the eggs in one basket" ploy even fooled you too. Do a little reseasch, and you'll find that Real estate selling managing, renting and leasing” is the largest segment of Canada’s economy at 13%.
Manufacturing, while it may be lower than in years past, is still a very large portion of GDP and is the second largest component at 11%.
Mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction all together is third at 8% of GDP.
8% of GDP is NOT "all the nations eggs in the basket" as you were fooled into thinking it was.
Don't you know enough to NOT take a politician's word as the truth??

For the past three months all you've heard from the LWPMSM and the Progressives in Canada, is how bad off Canada is, and how we've lost our standing in the world.
Well it's obvious some sheeple believed that crap.
It comes a little late for Stephen Harper’s Conservatives, but Canada has been named both the freest and most tolerant country in the world. It’s also one of the most prosperous and best-run, and trails only Australia in education.
Good thing we changed governments eh?
The latest accolade for Canada comes from a London-based think tank, The Legatum Institute, which publishes an annual “prosperity index.” Canada scores well overall – in sixth place out of 142 countries – but excels in the categories of personal freedoms and openness. Though always near the top of the order in the seven years the index has been compiled, the last year of the Conservatives’ mandate coincided with its rise to first place as “the freest country in the world.”
Canada, the report notes, “is the most tolerant of immigrants – 92% of people think the country is a good place for immigrants. It is also the fifth most tolerant of ethnic minorities… 94% of Canadians believe that they have the freedom to choose the course of their own lives
Canada’s middle class appears to be the richest in a new study of incomes in several big countries.
The in-depth report published today in The New York Times, which looks at about 20 nations, indicates that Canadians have bumped Americans out of the top spot they have long held.
For the fourth time in six years, Canada has come out on top in a survey that tries to determine which country has the best reputation — not that we're the types to brag about it.
The world's perception of Canadians as "friendly and welcoming" people helped us reclaim our No. 1 spot this year on the Reputation Institute's annual ranking of countries by perceived image.
Canada is the "most admired" country with the "best reputation" in the world, according to an annual survey ranking the reputations of developed nations across the globe.
The 2015 report from the Reputation Institute ranked Canada as the most reputable country in the world, based on a variety of environmental, political, and economic factors.
The Reputation Institute's Fernando Prado says Canada offers "something good" in many different categories evaluated in the survey.
