i was at that game. i literally didn't know that happened until after the game listening to wip on the way home. - hammarby31
He took "you create your own breaks" quite literally. Hasek was absolutely livid, and rightfully so. I'm still salty they didn't win the cup that year. |

Why is Rinaldo allowed to dive on the little tug by Moore? Why is Giroux allowed to take at least 4 hard slashes at Moore? I mean, they evened up Ranger PP's when Zuccarello and Dorsett apparently embellished earlier in the series. just looking for answers..... |

Quite the postseason performances by Boucher and Primeau respectively (in those runs). The Flyers have certainly had their chances in the last couple of decades. |

http://articles.mcall.com...desjardins-jeremy-roenick
Desjardins backed off the story that the plate broke while playing catch in the backyard with his son. He said it felt kind of funky while taking slapshots during practice on Tuesday, and after taking treatment following the practice, had the arm re-examined.
"It is disappointing," Desjardins said of the break, which will require a bone graft and a new plate during surgery scheduled for today. "It's the fun time of the year, the playoff time. I was looking forward to it after rehabbing it. I played [the last] three games [of the season]. I felt decent. I felt good."
Interesting. I wonder where the original story came from. If only he was there for that run. :/ |

Desjardin re breaking his forearm too - KINGKENZO
Yeah I remember that one too. A hard awkward check in the boards behind the net.
I was trying to keep it since at least one of the current Flyers still playing - like 2007-2008 to now. |

Yeah, they're complaining and they're got double the powerplays the Flyers have. |

mine was when keith jones jacked him up in the corner during a playoff game - supposedly cackling and saying "i want this more than you do" on the way down to the ice. |

Yeah the re-injury was a weird harmless play gone bad.
I think I was remembering the original broken arm from the crunch he took behind the net. |

this is my other favorite. i just didn't mention it.
edit: i think i'm thinking of a different hit from on hasek in the same corner. my memory was closer to the boards and a more violent/legit check. |
