You have to think that Duchene is going to suit up. He looked good in the videos from this morning. Having him in the line up even if he doesn't play as much would be a huge boost to our secondary scoring.

Thats the sort of game we need for our Bottom 6 guys, and I was more impressed with Hishon this game vs last. He looked a bit more comfortable out there, however he gets knocked off the puck too easily. Don't mind him on the PP though ((frank) does it need a Duchene fix)

Completely agree with your Hishon comment. He looked much better in this game and I actually felt comfortable with him on the ice and was hoping people would give him the puck. However, Suter pushed him off the puck one time like it was me trying to skate around with a puck.

Hes a smaller guy and probably isn't as strong as he needs for the NHL level quiet yet with his conditionating from injuries, but I am optimistic that he could play at this level with some serious offseason training.

Really I want him to make an impact sooner rather than later so we can put cliche back down to the 4th line. He's a good 4th liner C, but he can't be stretched out for 3rd line minutes.

The kid is amazing and is going to an absolute freaking superstar. The NHL is a copycat league and if youth, speed, enthusiasm, risk and offense are what it takes to win, sign me up.

Go Avs. How can you not root for this group of kids along with Roy and Sakic?
