ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues won a franchise record 52 games this season and general manager Doug Armstrong can't help but sum it up as a disappointment.
"We're in the winning business and we're not winning at the appropriate time of the year," Armstrong said Tuesday. "We have to fix that."

I know the guys making decisions have to make they press statements, but sometimes you as GM also include yourself in the blame.

As part of your resignings of your defense and acquistion of more high level defenders, you decided the Cap casualty was Perron. (He had three years remaining on his contract, with a cap hit of $3.8 million, granted a chunk.)

You got for Perron, a second rounder in this thin draft, and a guy who sat in the Press Box, Magnus Svensson Paajarvi.

Question: doncha think that Perron a 28 goals scorer this year just might have able to pot a few big ones in that close Hawk Blues series?

Just saying - you really have to judge EVERYONE's performance since last year including the GM.

I had you use the insult Blues fan reply t be able TO post, and I never directly insulted anyone here....

So it seems your guy in charge has seen fit to block DIRECT POSTS FROM ME.

I never used profanity or fought with folks here, just had a divergent opinion, and told him, I did think his warning OTHERS (not me) about beii ng crtaeful or they would get banned was the right choice on his part...so he BANNED ME?????

I am not in tears and if I was a big Blues fan I now know that my visits here only have comments by folks who are in alignment with the new guy in charge.
