I understand that and I did think about that. But green is relied on more in Washington to play more minutes and Ovi is Ovi. But i think the rewards would out do the risks. Plus can you imagine a Giroux/Ovi showdown with Milkin/Crosby. Ratings would be through the roof.

the flyers are beating themselves because they refuse to play differently. they eventually make mistakes and the rangers cash in. their forwards have been a virtual no-show except for voracek and to a lesser degree akeson. it's not enough. lundquist has been a virtual non-factor.

even if the flyers win tomorrow, which they absolutely can, there's little reason to believe they'll follow up with enough to win at msg, where they're now 1-10 in they're last 11.

Regardless of whether they are good moves or bad moves, the fact of the matter still remains. We don't draft players outside of the Center position that actually make it to the NHL.

That should worry us.

I swore that meant we were moving a center. We probably will still move a center this off season, but it still didn't make much sense.

Schenn i think was shopped all year long and teams just didn't want to give up much for him. I actually doubt there are many teams that interested in Schenn to start with.

The fact that they've not signed Schenn by this point of the season has me leaning towards a complication in the process. Does Schenn want more than what is being offered to him? I'd bet yes. I still think he is shown the door this off summer.

I really wish we could experience that. Sadly, i highly doubt it. From all that i've read and listened to from the Flyers players and coaches is that they are playing well but making a few mistakes that leads to goals. They think they're playing too emotional so they are trying to calm it down and not get involved in the scrums.

At least that's what the Captain and the Coach say/think. Until they realize that they've played like poop, we don't have a chance at winning it.
