It all comes down to the Power Play. The Flyers relied on it all year long. They aren't going to all the sudden not rely on it in the playoffs.

Voracek, Giroux, Vinny, Hartnell, and Simmonds all scored a ton of Goals on the PP. That's 5 of our 7 20 goal scorers.

Rangers aren't a better team. Flyers are just playing themselves out of the playoffs. It's easier to say the Rangers are better than to admit your team poop the bed.

I dont agree with Berube's line combos, I don't think theres much more he can do. They just don't commit to two-way hockey. He tried to shield the 2nd line as much as possible. They just suck.

Theres nothing he can do about the lack of talent of defense. He can't make guys faster or more skilled.

I'm not saying they can quit. Anything can happen. I just don't think we should blow this series out of proportion. The Flyers were the underdog for good reason.

They are a work in progress. They have a 2nd line center who is 22 and a third line center who is 21. Its not like they won't get better.

The biggest of Flyers fans wasn't happy with the game 5 performance.

That's true. But all of the lines have sucked. 1st to 4th.

Had Giroux shown up to play this series, and had a competent line mate on the LW, we may have been up by this point or more (won the series etc). Our best players haven't been our best players.

The problem is poor adjustments to the Rangers defense. They keep a very tight gap on us in all of the zones. However, that doesn't mean you can't move a guy to the front of the net to screen shots or perhaps *gasp* they crash the net!

They are trying to beat the Rangers with skill alone. That doesn't work against the Rangers. You have to play smash mouth Flyers hockey and punch them in the face while scoring a goal. It's the only way.

We should be trying to aggitate them to get them off their game instead of vice versa.
