What you guys think about trying jake at center? - JoeRussomanno
Not mad at that. Only problem is it bumps one of our other centers out of the dot. Additionally, I'd like to know what Jake's faceoff chops were like as well. |

Might not be a bad idea to maybe get Giroux on a wing.
Double shift him. First line with Giroux/Voracek and anyone but Hartnell then throw him on the RW of another line (that doesn't have hartnell on it).
Crosby's getting double shifted for the Pens so he can get away from some matchups. Have Giroux double shift. |

dubinksy is straight up his ass every time. he is a guy who you would love on your team im sure, but god damn im starting to hate him. not inherently dirty, but pretty much an uncalled infraction every shift. |

He learned that stuff in New York. There are ways to do things in the NHL that should be penalties but they're not. Like those moving picks etc. |

How goes it gents? - rangerdanger94
watching an up and down season play out in the post season. personally after the 1-7 start and all the issues i was content with the playoffs....i went to game 4 and want them to go thru to the next round but the rangers have played much more consistently so hard to say we deserve to win.....would love to see G and mason just take off and will this team to a cup, but i've been waiting for that for most of my life. |

Good that you see it. I was beginning to think my orange colored glasses were clouding my perception. he always plays that way. |

no its definitely there. like i said, id be lying if i said it probably isnt awesome if its on your team. but when the shoe is on the other foot, its infuriating. its why i was probably willing to give giroux more leverage than some folks, because the rangers are doing the same thing to him.
there is not one series that goes by in which either crosby or giroux arent forced to play the entire shift without a stick between their legs, or just being held against the boards. yeah, i wonder why they arent getting up to a full speed gallop. it is what it is. like i said, its usually not extremely dirty stuff, but just infuriating enough because it just renders their finesse game largely ineffective.
in the regular season, that stuff is called, and they back off. more room, and boom. |

i think they can win, but i have almost zero faith in they're being able to win a game 7 at msg. it would take an absolute rangers implosion - they'd have to beat themselves, and i see no signs of that happening. they're a model of consistency right now.

Could easily see the Flyers getting down a goal or 2 early tomorrow and unraveling completely, resulting in a horrible blowout loss. Like 8-1 or something.
Then again they could win and force a game 7 back @MSG. |

Yeah, Gill looked awful out there but not that much worse than the rest of the team. You can hardly put it all on his shoulders. I just didn't get a sense of urgency from the Flyers in that game. Maybe that's part of what Kimmo means about skating harder. |
