I'm not for anything that has the potential to bring in high end talent to the current roster.

I don't care for drafting past the 2nd round. Takes too long for the kids to ever get a chance in the NHL, and most of the time its Rinaldo types.

I'd rather spend every asset we have to maximize the talent around Giroux. Take advantage of this opportunity. If they can draft AND maximize the talent around him then that's even better.

hell yeah. i dont know if they have any big pieces that would realistically be available. couture and pavelski arent going anywhere. demers would be a nice piece, but he would be part of the long term solution for me if i was there. i dont know what pieces they really could part with that would fetch a big return.
