I actually like the Flyers chances better in a potential game 7 than I do tonight. But I think Mason has a great game and he at least gives us a chance tonight.

they play a near-perfect game and win convincingly (5-1?) and we think they've figured it out.......then tomorrow they lose 1-0

Unfortunately, the games they didn't win have managed to he a mix of getting beat/losing. They aren't playing well, but the Rangers are a more consistent hockey team.

I've often thought about that. Read has speed and a good shot. He scored 22 goals without a single PP goal. And he scored more ES goals then a lot of good players did this past season. I think his totals would go up playing with someone like Giroux. We do need his checking ability, but it's not a bad idea to move him up.

I guess I should amend that. I'll be disappointed. My main point that I want to make is if you're going to go down, don't go down easy. I don't want to see a bunch of mistakes and poor play. This team hasn't played it's best game yet. I'd like to see at least one game where they play as good as they're capable of.

That playing as such is not the Philadelphia Flyer way, and they have to try and get the Rangers out of their comfort zone.
