What Mac did wasn't dirty. That's just hockey. He's frustrated, it's hockey. Only problem was simmonds got called and shouldn't. And more and more I'm accept Dorset dives. (Although the stick did hit the helmet. Is that a high stick? Or is it face contact? Not sure, either way Dorset shoulda gotten a dive on the play).
Other than those 2 I'm not sure what else was bad or dirty by the rangers. - mrhattrick27
did not like Dorset's trip on Streit going hard into the boards
Very dangerous play |

Dorsett's take out of Streit was basically a slew foot. He should've gotten 5, 10 and a game, IMO. - Doc_Sarcasm
Not sure if serious.
It was a knee though. |

You waited until you could post something to save your ass with that one hey. - flyer_nutter
I didn't need to be saved. I know the difference between poor execution, and not having the right players. And I know that a GM isn't to blame when a player flubs a fundamental play.

Either too lenient where they let the game get out of control or too extreme with ticky tacky calls. But overall a lot of bad calls. I dont remember it being this bad last year. - FrmRusiaWifGlov
Or royally (frank)ing up goal calls (tampa, Sj, NYR last game) it's just been BAD |

voracek hauled down trying to get out front, giroux, akeson and read all hit WAY after the puck was gone//////not all that much different than the flyers but we're the home team and the pp's are 4-2 for your team.....just like game 4. rags could have been called 6 times at least and got 2 |

EDIT: I agree with that assessment of the Streit play |

Yeah screwing up a goal call is just absurd. Some of those missed goal calls could legitimately change a series. |

was not a knee. He pulled back on Streit's inside shoulder, and kicked out his skate with his stick. Streit's lucky he didnt hit his head on the ice before he crashed into the boards. |

We have debated this in the past, don't really get this obsession with trying to draw one this evening.
I prefer when they play this way, loose and with emotion. You prefer the machine approach.
Shut it and enjoy the game big man. - flyer_nutter
I enjoy when they play with emotion also. I have no idea what the machine approach is. I don't enjoy stupid and needless penalties. Save the emotion for between the whistles. |

Very dangerous play - Marc D
I was trying to edit. Forgot that one. I watched it 3 times. I really hope he was trying to wrap the arm around to drive him in like a normal hit but it's realt hard to argue that that is the case. But in terms of calls, he got the penalty. So not much to complain about on that play from a flyer standpoint |

Its been bad throughout from what I have seen. Not sure what the deal is but the inconsistency is weird.
They call it one way in the regular season and another in the playoffs. That's one thing, but this series has been called tighter than any other that I've seen. |

Carcillo without a doubt. But Dorsett is really cranking up the Douche-o-meter tonight.
