Dorsett's take out of Streit was basically a slew foot. He should've gotten 5, 10 and a game, IMO. - Doc_Sarcasm
i was just relieved that streit didn't get 2 on the play |

Hey Pix,
How do I get free hd streaming of this game?
If I have to listen to another period of these bumholes, i'm going to go nuts.
I also don't want NBC to get the ratings. PM me so you don't get banned.

As chippy as Dorsett can be at times, I'd like to think that wasn't intentional.
If it was though, it was a disturbingly dangerous move. |

Oh wait I was talking about that hit on Akeson. Wasn't that Dorsett too?
EDIT: I agree with that assessment of the Streit play - Giroux_Is_God
Akenson hit is where I'd argue with you guys. Wasn't a knee on knee. It was a Charlie horse. That happens a lot. And it was girardi. Dude barely
Gets penalties let alone is dirty. That play was clean. |

Carcillo without a doubt. But Dorsett is really cranking up the Douche-o-meter tonight. - Doc_Sarcasm

I enjoy when they play with emotion also. I have no idea what the machine approach is. I don't enjoy stupid and needless penalties. Save the emotion for between the whistles. - MJL
I really would enjoy knowing what this obsession with me is.
Kind of disturbing. Go out and smell the town. More than debating on HB. |

In the 2nd period, forwards got a lot more open ice. They had skating room. What changed? I don't buy the "they played with more passion" bit being the only answer. |

voracek hauled down trying to get out front, giroux, akeson and read all hit WAY after the puck was gone//////not all that much different than the flyers but we're the home team and the pp's are 4-2 for your team.....just like game 4. rags could have been called 6 times at least and got 2 - hogweed
Lot's of stuff was let go. The Rinaldo hit on Boyle should have been an interference penalty. The puck was long gone.

I was trying to edit. Forgot that one. I watched it 3 times. I really hope he was trying to wrap the arm around to drive him in like a normal hit but it's realt hard to argue that that is the case. But in terms of calls, he got the penalty. So not much to complain about on that play from a flyer standpoint - mrhattrick27
Ok didn't follow completely
Refs have blown a lot of calls on both sides |

Who does everyone hate more: Carcillo or Dorsett? I think I gotta say Carbomb - FrmRusiaWifGlov
Agreed... Carcillo does what he does, but I don't like how he beaks off in the press... like after game 3 or talking about how Leighton was to blame in 2010 for not winning the cup.. foolish. |

I've got to say Dorsett. He seems to be behind every one of NYR's dirty plays this series, and always seems to find his way into trouble. |

Seemed to me they tried to move the puck quicker. To push the pace instead of play it safe and slow it down. |

They simply executed better. They were sharper with their passes. And the Flyers had a better forecheck.

That period is by far the best they have looked in this series and reminds me of how they played during the hell streak at the end of March. |

they stopped trying to break out off the wall after the first few minutes and used the middle of the ice. made a big difference. |

Meh. So it was Girardi- I'm all (frank)ed up I guess
I mean, don't get me wrong- I'm not going out and saying it was a Matt Cooke knee and that the guy is a scumbag. Still, I hate those kinds of hits.
If memory serves me right, Akeson kind of tried to juke him too.....

with Boyle's 40 ft wingspan, the puck was still clearly within reach

And?
Missing them both ways is one thing. Calling the game tight on one team, and not tight on the other is another.
