only 1 game 7 between the flyers/nyr - 1974 in philly, flyers win. the ranjuhs are 7-0 all time i think in game 7s at msg.

and for putting gusty in. he played well, and potted the winner. i loved seeing hank get hammered. so great. he's done (frank) all this series except for a nice save or two. if mason was healthy for the the whole series, and tonight's flyers showed up at the beginning, this series is over already.

Eh I disagree maybe Im in the minority but I absolutely despise the Penguins....everything about them players, coach, owners, fanbase all of them. Dont think there is a franchise in all of sports that I hate more than pens.

i dont think hell do anything either. i was long an apologist of his. but my god. for as big as he is, it is unbelievable how much he tends to be a finesse, perimeter player.

when he wants to, you can see he can just be an absolute bull with the puck on a string. but its too few and far between for the skill he has.

In my experience, most likely caused by the area I live, I hate penguins fans more. Most rangers fans that I talk to in person can hold a conversation about hockey. I actually went to game 3 with rangers fans, and they bought the tickets because "you're poor and in college. But a real fan needs to experience playoff hockey." Penguins fans, in this area at least, know nothing about the team let alone anything else that's happened on the league for the past couple of years.

i live in northeast philly, and the rangers fans ive met by and large were just basically annoying jerry seinfeld on crack new york obnoxious, so i doubt their annoyance was limited to on ice endeavors.

but i totally understand what you mean. the overwhelming majority of flyers fans i meet, id say from age 18 to 35, know literally nothing about hockey. they are extremely nonsensical, and above all, hypocritical being all else.

to be fair, the few people i meet that claim to be pens fans are usually not worth talking to either. typically their knowledge of their own team that they claim to follow ends the second you bring up a name like sergei gonchar and you get a who?

and yes, i understand and admit the common theme running through this is that i dont quite care much for most people haha
