Recent history says you want the Rangers to pull this series out. The Flyers have Fleury's number in a big time way.

Did any of you actually expect the rangers to win the cup this year?
a few first round wins and maybe one or two in the 2nd round if we are lucky is icing on the cake for this makeshift team. Rangers still have a lot to look forward too in the coming seasons now that there is some actual chemistry building and signs of life offensively.

Despite what's happened. I do think this period is important. Regardless of who is in goal, they need to show some guts here and get something positive going for tomorrow night.

In the east you never know. But the way they look tonight i guess I was being a little too optimistic.

I'd be surprised if Lundqvist doesn't at least start the 3rd ... you guys have a PP, and an early goal makes it 4 - 1, and you'd have 18 minutes left.

True. I understand the frustration and anger in this thread , but think some are a little to negative after one lousy period. You think momentum matters for tomorrow? Its game 7, I don't think anyone needs extra motivation. This is what players live for. Garden will be rocking as well.
