Rangers/Philly vs Pens will start Friday and Sunday in Pittsburgh. I was confident that the Rangers could beat the Pens. I was confident in a Game 6 win though, even if the Rangers win tonight, I am just not as confident. Carp alluded to it as well, this team is justy too uneven.

A power play thought, maybe its time to adjust the unit. If Philly is going to stand up at the blue line and force dump ins, why not use Hagelin on designed dump ins and allow him to retrieve the puck. To me Pouliot has been a disaster, replace him with Hagelin. I think 0 for their last 20 warrants an adjustment. no?

Any ideas for lineup changes? JT Miller was ineffective last night but I am not sure what other options AV has at this point. Diaz in for possibly Moore was discussed, thats a move that might help the power play but the Rangers problem has been the entry not sure Diaz's bomb from the point matters if they can't set up

I don't know what to say about Benoit Pouliot anymore. The dude has lost a fan, that's really all I can say.

Now we know why he bounces around the league. He has been the Rangers dumbest player by a mile

Its a source of pride for them too. They love it.

Not all fans are bad. I for one do not like any of that crap and take no pride in it. I would hope them idiots get banned for life. Arguing is one thing but when it comes to fighting, it's really stupid, especially when being mauled by a group of idiots that outnumber you.

Trying to play amateur coach here. The sentiment was to never break up the Brass-Zucc_Benny line. Is it time to possibly move Zucc on BR's wing? Or even move Zuccs up to play with Step and Nash and move Marty back with BR, Marty's game has been much better and hopefully to the point that it doesn't matter who he plays with. Zuccarello's linemates have let him down.

I can't understand how Dorsett gets his 2nd "embellishment" call after getting hit from behind into Mason yet Giroux has been flopping the entire series and has yet to have been called, even though Pouliot's penalty was called correctly it looked like Giroux was shot, it's a complete double standard

The thing is AV won't change it up now. Don't see it in the game 7. But Brassard and Pouliot are really a non factor. Actually it would have been better if Pouliot just didn't show up. Cause he is actively hurting this team on the ice.

People caml down!! Im a hard core flyers fan and I must say a few things. First....the rangers owned the flyers in ame 6, they just couldnt get a puck past mason early enough. The rangers a re a completly different team when trailing. Easier to beat I guess you can say. But lets be honest here...you have one of the best goalies in the game, your at home, and you havent seen the worst from the flyers yet!! Rangers win game 7 by a good margin. Msg is a house of horrors for the flyers and I think mason is a really good goalie on his way to be great, but not yet. Rangers score first and philly folds like a deck of cards. This from a hard core flyers fan! Either way....neither of us are beating the bruins anyways..

Giroux has been getting the Crosby treatment for sure. Hopefully if all hails true the refs will put the whistles away in game 7. I like the Rangers 5 on 5, but if the game goes to special teams they have no chance

To be fair, the entire team was ineffective last night

Yes and I don't mean to single out Miller but he is the most likely one to sit was my point although I'd think long and hard about sitting Pouliot. He got away with dumbness (thanks Torts) in game 3, not last night. The thing that was most alarming was they never recovered from that bad penalty.

The difference though, if the Flyers win they will be supremely confident that they will advance past to the ECF whereas the Rangers will have to slay the Penguins demons that have haunted the Rangers for years now in the playoffs.

So we slam Sully for the bad PP, when do we slam the players?

if we lose tonight, I think everyone is pretty much fair game in one way or another.

AV needs to change the dynamic of one of the PP units and adjust their entry. This is 5 games now in which the Rangers can't gain the zone. WTF!!

I know McDonagh is the front runner for next captain, and rightfully so...but with the way he plays on the ice, I would think long and hard about Zuccarello to

You see it a lot, the team that gets soundly beaten comes right back and returns the favor. Neither team has won 2 straight games in this entire season, ten games now they have alternated wins, why should that be any different now right?? I'm useless today. Told my wife already, the kids need to have their homework done, fed, in PJ's by 7:00, after that she is on her own. If they lose she may kick me out of the house.

Rangers PP - I notice that most of the Ranger PP goals are generated from point shots. So Philly made an adjustment and the forwards are staying high in the zone. This is preventing the Rangers from having time and space when they get setup. Before they can get setup the team is stagnet when trying to enter the zone. so we have many problems and its resulting in an O-fer in the last 4 games.
I would rather not see a drop pass to anyone in the neutral zone as the main entry scheme to enter the zone.
I would prefer we have 3-4 guys flying through the nentral zone on the same side and have a shoot in to the appropiate corner.
Then keep the puck down low and crash the net.
Look at what Voracek did twice on their PPs. He faked a shot and took one or two steps towards the middle before shooting. This resulted in 2 goals for them.
I would like to see MSL or Zucc do that

So do us a favor and let the Flyers win tonight, so they can do both of the Flyers/Rangers work which is getting rid of the dirty penguins.
