That's the part that gets me is the mob that formed as soon as they saw who it was, cheers of someone getting punched while held down is heinous

Good news is a lot of those punches, from that crowd, looked very weak. Couldn't break wind with some of those right hands.

Maybe someone else can answer this, was Nash more physical when he was in Columbus. For some reason the few times I watched him when he was in Columbus, I seem to remember he played a much more physical game than he does with the Rangers. Am I wrong on this?

Concussions have played a big part of him playing a very timid perimeter game

Pierre Penis head interviewed Simmonds after the game. Simmonds said the Flyers will win tonight. He'll be right if Girardi and McD dont get their heads out of their asses.

I was wondering if the 2 he has had with the Rangers, has made him shy away from the physical game. Not saying he should be out there like a 4th line checker, but he is a huge dude, and I rarely see him use his size.

would anybody be surprised if whenever we get eliminated we find out he has been playing with one of those torn labrums?

I have been thinking that since he came back. He just doesn't look right.

Of course Simmonds is going to say that.

Team should sit him out then because, at this point, Diaz is a better option than this version of McDonagh.

Not at all, I said that a couple of days ago. If thats the case, then he won't be back until after the season begins next season.

Tonight I would rather have Staal matched up against Simmons. Someone just needs to physically punish him when he is in front of our net. I don't have much faith right now in Girardi & McDonagh to do that .

You are right to feel this way after last night.

They couldn't have played a less effective game if they played in wheelchairs.

I don't think there is any chance they would scratch McDonagh, but, I think playing Staal the vital minutes on the top pairing seems to be the smartest thing to do at the moment

I'd sit Stralman. Sick of seeing him down on one knee trying to block a pass or shot while the Flyer player is going around him.
