I don't think it will be a move for the sake of help. It would be more of a "this is a guy I want on my team in the next couple of years, so I'm going to get him now". It doesn't have to be a forward. It could very well be a goaltender, or even another defenseman. The thing we don't realize is that this entire prospect pool is Darcy Regier's handy work. Murray has his own scouting report on these guys, and it might not agree with Regier's. - buffalofan19

in essence they removed first line lw
second line rw
stewart fills the rw slot - homiedclown
Which in that case they still need to find 50+ goals to get to the Kings level. They need to find another 25 goals on top of that if they allow the same amount of goals as last year.
I don't see how you think they wont be awful next year but more power to you to be thinking optimistic |

I wouldn't mind him on a 2 year deal. Mainly because he will miss 80% of the games and wouldn't effect the tank |

I will take just about any "veteran" on a two year deal. |

This. I'm glad people have an optimistic attitude. Awesome.
I'm just not seeing a while lot more then "you think nolan/Murray will let us be that bad" for reasonings.

They will finish 29th or 30th next season and will be guaranteed a future all star player. |

Nolan will "will" this team into winning 900 games in 899 games played. |

2yr 8 mil contract is what I see.
Another player we have talked about and if he can stay healthy is a type of 25/25 guy. Also wouldn't surprise me to see David Bolland signed. 2 2nd/3rd liners. |

He has played in 89.63% of his games in his career. He's missed 73 games in his career. Outside of the strike year, he's played in 66 or more games per season. He played in all 82 this past season.
73.50 gp which equals 45.89 points. |

The Leopold of goalies unfortunately.
I still think the Isles go after Reimer and try and roll the dice on a 1-2 punch. |

Pittsburgh IMO.
I'd not be upset if we went after him either. He's a good goalie. |

Your thinking waaaaay to a head man. What's to say Ulmark, Petersen or Makarov won't be the next Hasek or Miller? Stick to the plan. I'd rather have a team like Chicago or Boston then a team like the Sharks. |

Reimer's horrible man. No need for him here. Gus one of the most overrated backups in recent history. I'd take Johnson before Reimer. |

He gets an avg of 16 wins a season on a terrible Toronto team. He'd be a better option than Enroth who I feel is moved in the offseason. |
