The cap isn't going to be $72 million. - Feanor
CapGeek seems to think it will be 71mil. This adds up to 70.5mil. The commish said 69 to 71mil. So I don't think this is out of the question.
Edit: I also think the flyers can trade lecavalier without eating any pay. and they can save a few bucks on gustafsson. that will lower the cap hit to around 69.3mil.
If they can make those kind of savings they can sign a guy like goc to the fourth line and have raffl laughton goc and have a formidable fourth line. |

Kadri and Stepan scored 44 points in 48 games before signing their RFA contracts.
Brayden just took 82 games to score 41. - Feanor
Read 5 replies down and I admitted I forgot it was only 48 games. |

That's because the Sharks' success kept you happy. This time, they choked early, well before getting your hopes up. |

the sharks were even bigger duds than the flyers
0-17 on the power play losing a 3-0 series
the guys on the radio were still blasting the sharks this morning |

Hadn't heard from you since the switch from Emery to Mason. Still think Emery should have started the rest of the games this series? |

I'm still trying to figure out how we got Niskanen for only $6M and why Moulson's here and not in Minny. |

You're not far off. Just drop Moulson down to something more reasonable. |

You also want to be below the max (counting Pronger) before day 1 in the season if you hope to max out Pronger's LTIR exemption. Otherwise, if somebody gets hurt, you literally have zero space to bring in a replacement, since you've technically already replaced the player according to the CBA. |

No, because if you were more interested in reading instead of "owning" me, I said I'd stay with Emery until he had a bad game, which he did.

I'm still angry we lost but its nice to see giroux a finalist for the Hart. Good work young ginger. He won't win as we all know golden boy Crosby will even though he was not as valuable to his team. But a big accomplishment |

Yeah Im trying to put together a best case scenario off season and Im having trouble making the numbers work. But it seems like we can't get our top line winger and the defenseman we need in one off season. |

I'll say it again:
One of the most frustrating things about this series for me, was the amount of shots (especially during powerplays) that were blocked by the shins of Rangers players and redirected out of the zone, or taken away by another Rangers player.
Against these teams that heavily block shots, such as the Rangers this series, SHOOT HIGH. You don't even have to aim for the net. If a player is going to kneel down and block everything with the shins, aim high, catch one in the face/head/ear and that should get them to think-twice about trying to block EVERY (frank)ING SHOT that the Flyers attempt. |

You think Minny can sign Moulson when they have 3 6mil+ forwards and Suter and Parise's contracts to deal with? Plus they have like half their team to resign still. |

I'm expecting them to address the defense first. Offense seemed to be ok for the most part of the season, seven scorers with 20+ goals is pretty good.

You got me. I was not interested in reading through 3-4 GDT's in hopes of finding your updated views on the goalie situation. I saw you currently posting, and thought I could catch you. I did, but your panties appear to be in a twist of some sort. My bad. Did you order the Emery jersey yet, or are you waiting to see if he comes back? |
