Yeah it's not like Kopitar stepped up and had points in every game in the series. Or that Drew Doughty played around 28 minutes a night and was a ppg player. Or that Jake Muzzin, Slava Voynov and Jarret Stoll stepped up and made life miserable on SJ's top 6.

Im tired of reading about how SJ choked, Logan Couture said "there is no excuse, they were the better team. The best team won."

Maybe the anomaly was the 13 goals in 2 games by SJ. Game 3 couldve gone either way and the Kings, not just Quick, outplayed SJ in 4 straight. The story should be how the team has won 4 straight games in 3 different series over the past 3 seasons.

I would tend to agree. Oddsmakers are saying essentially even money on LAK-ANA with LA holding a 7 point lead in Fenwick.

However Rangers holding that same 7 point lead are getting far juicier odds. Of course variables on Pitt injuries at the end of the season cloud that, but NYR still holds a 3 point lead in 5v5 close over the entire season. I'd put an extra $100 on NYR first.

i honestly feel for the Shark fans....too much of a roller coaster ride I thought big Joe would have made it to the finals by now .They have had great teams the last 7 years .Losing while up 3-0 has to be agonizing beyond belief....

He allowed 2 GA in the last 3 games, games where the Sharks could easily have had 4 or 5 on a goalie that wasn't playing super humanly. Sure their guys took advantage but they wouldn't have even been in it if Quick didn't bail them out
