Is that true? I read he's having surgery to improve his hearing. - PLindbergh31
true and widely known
remember he got suspended in the ahl for trying to rescue his hearing aid off of the ice from the penalty box once |

Even I, as someone who freely admits I think way too much about this stuff, think that's one level too much

Robby Fabri or Jakub Vrana but I wouldn't limit myself to that position. - ob18
HA! I know you wouldn't; you're calm, cool and professional about these things.
Now me, on the other hand, I'm totally fixated on getting a scoring LW into this system and I'll be kicking and screaming on draft day if it doesn't happen

OK.
If there is a LW available at 17 realistically, who would you want it to be? - AllInForFlyers
Couple of Kids might be available. Milano, Larkin and maybe Lemieux. Lemieux does play that flyer type of hockey, but would be a bit of a reach at 17. |

"We've been focusing in the last two years on drafting young defensemen. We've got some in the hopper; when they're going to be ready, I don't know. I like to call him "got-to-be-here," however you pronounce it... but he's got to be here. I think this kid has tremendous potential. Who knows. Young defensemen are doing wonderful things all over the league. You saw what happened in Montreal last night with P.K. Subban. There's a lot of young defensemen doing wonderful things in this league... there's no reason for us to think that this kid can't come in and help us. To be a plus-7 in a championship game when there's seven goals scored and four against is pretty amazing."

i'd be willing to be the house on it (but I rent). unless he dropped b/c of a subpar U18 tournament. |

Lemieux would be IMHO, he's a later 1st to early 2nd.
Plays a gritty style with good hands.......At times you think you are watching his father. |

Not sure if some would like Nikolay Goldobin because he is Russian but he'd be the goal scoring winger they'd need.

My point is there is no secret recipe for when you bring your prospects into the league and every player and team is different. - funmaster18
sure there is: as long as you aren't the flyers it should work out ok |
