They are all different types of players... Kunitz's abilities blend very well with the way Crosby plays.

Read and Simmonds have shown to have chemistry before...I forget if it was maybe for a time last year. But I do remember that. If we cant get any of the big LW fish, maybe we sign someone like Winnik or Stempniak for the 3rd line to bump Read up and go with these lines

I think G and Jake got some nice stuff building together and we shouldnt mess with that. But also, there is Pouliot /Jokinen / Kulemin. We'll get a decent player for that LW spot. that needs to be filled. Also a cast of other RWs to sign and send Raffl and Read over to the left side.

I wasn't looking at letting Schenn go for just a 1st 2nd and 3rd- I was saying if they didn't move him and someone signed him to a ridiculous offer sheet I believe those picks would be 2015 and not 2014. I'm not saying they should shop him but if there is a trade that would significantly help this team's needs, I wouldn't be upset.

I don't see VL going anywhere this year. Maybe if his role next year is similar to this past season, maybe he would agree to select teams to be traded to.

I think it'll be tough to make the changes they need to this offseason.While they are a talented club as individuals sometimes I think they aren't a cohesive group together which shows by their inconsistency. I see them as a good young team but not a serious cup contender.
