Sad game. Rangers inability to score on the PP is epic. Only thing I'm confident in watching this series, neither of these teams have a prayer against Boston.
Wow...Gaborik. - wolfhounds
it won't matter because the habs are going to win that series. |

the guy is getting up there and has had injury woes, but he has always had sick, sick talent. he also has never really had a center like kopitar before. |

im not that upset with the calls they were given. they really werent THAT phantom if you want to have a literal interpretation of the rules. and im fine if thats what you want to do. the problem is, its sickeningly appalling how much of a one way street it is. - stayinthefnnet
we can relate. believe me. the officiating in the last series was beyond absurd. |

yeah, definitely. im not one to shed tears for the flyers, but it was apparent then too. (frank)ing brutal. and even just objectively if it was against a different team. its just awful hockey to watch. |

If that happens, it will be very interesting to see who comes out of the East. |

i try to not go down that road, as im sure in the big picture, the pens have gotten their fair share of breaks with calls. and officiating by and large has been awful this postseason.
but just the rags. got damn it. its not "old school hockey". its trying to level the playing field because youre totally (frank)ing devoid of offensive talent. |

He certainly seems like he's warming up at the right time. LA could go on a deep run right to the finals after a so-so regular season, just like when they won the cup. With SJ and St Louis out, the field has weakened a bit in the West. |

Rangers have been playing a lot of hockey. What was that 6 in 9? Has to start taking a toll |

Certainly didn't shed a tear when Dorsett was in the box in game 2. Couldn't have happened to a better person |

LA and Anaheim...now that series has some snarl and energy. The west is apparently stealing the east's mojo this post-season. |

And both of those players are making a difference this post-season. Very good acquisitions. Of course, they are both auditioning for their next contract, so that's some good secondary motivation.
Vanek on the Flyers could be interesting, an Austrian connection with him and Raffl.

because they dont have teams whose sole purpose is to just gum up the entire game. makes for a much better product. |

Maroon plays on the Ducks top PP unit?
How is Rob Bordson doing? Still a career minor league poopbag? |

tough (frank)ing break. just like the flyers horrendous final quarter season schedule and garbage injury to their most important player in game 81. |

He like Akeson couldn't skate either though!!!
At least with akeson his size is an issue idk what the excuse for not giving Maroon a shot was, although i suspect if he doesn't have issues with the Phantoms coach at the time, he would've gotten one in the future, probably waaay to late but still. |
