Montreal for Briere is probably the best we can hope for.

They can dust off Beliveau's #4 for him.

Remember at last year's draft. Homer and Mactavish we're going back and forth trying to cut a deal. I wouldn't be surprised to see him cut at least one deal with the Oilers ,as they need defence help more than we do.

The Buffalo GM is open to any deal. I would like to see Myers but it would take more than B Schenn... Hopefully not much more but they need help up front. And of course one of the teams that needs the most help up front is the Preds.

He needs faster wingers, but the faster wingers don't need him. Especially when you consider that Vinny doesn't bring anything at this stage that Bozak/Kadri couldn't do better, except for maybe firing one-timers on the PP.

If healthy, Lecavalier is exactly what the Leafs need. If he is healthy, Bozak and Kadri, aren't the players that Lecavalier is, at center.

The Leafs definitely need size up the middle as Bozak and Kadri are their top 2,but the media here would eat Vinny alive.
