The Dominic Moore dive at the end of the period reminded me that I wanted to say after Game 1 that I've never seen some attempt more dives in a game than him. |

Letang has been great defensively. No sarcasm key. Seriously. Wow. - powerhouse
hes always had it in him. him displaying that closing speed to cover for martin on that one. if he keeps this up, i will be very happy even if it is at the expense of some offense |

The whole team was atrocious in the series against the Flyers. They were all flopping like fish. Giroux caught on and began to get the same calls. |

Yes, that's what we were just talking about. He is like a heat seeking torpedo on the puck defensively. - powerhouse
Didn't read through the comments, but best I've seen him in a while |

If it wasnt for those stupid posts, we'd be up 4-0, or down 3-2. Anyway, real happy with this game so far. Rangers are bringing more to the table than i thought they would. |

yeah. it wouldnt bother me so much if they literally didnt rely on hooking and interference as their own bread and butter. |

That sucks for them, a inch here or there and this gamr is tied. |

Has Crosby drawn a penalty yet??? It's pathetic what the nhl allows playoff hockey to be played like. A great sport watered down at the best time. It's like if the nfl allowed pass interference in the playoffs. Ruins the game. |

They really plug the neutral zone. Its like they have completely reverted back to Torts hockey. |

This game and series is far from over. Fleury has played really well, but we've all seen things go south in the blink of an eye.
If the Rags get an early third period goal, it could be a bumpy landing for you guys. |

they have. and while i think thats incredibly boring hockey, if you want to do it, then youre entitled to. but do it within the rulebook. or else, you know, have those paid to enforce said rulebook actually do just that?
they did it to you guys all series too. its why i felt more sympathy for giroux than criticism. |

in no way is this game over at all. the rangers were actually dominating play for large swaths of time. the pens goals came on the few opportunities they could get on a break/rush.
cant hold up at all. |

Its not as bad when you're ahead. Thats why the first goal against the Rags is so important. They can only play conservative hockey for so long. Especially, when they aren't getting anything from their PP. |

definitely agree. the early lead is huge. but as weve seen, it can evaporate in a hurry.
their PP looked great the last 2 times out. |

Yeah I completely agree with you, I was saying it sucks when you're already looking at Capgeek. I was assuming you meant they were already buying Nash out or discussing offseason moves. The dreaded doom and gloom. |

Especially against the Pens. We have all seen them lose focus in the blink of an eye this playoff year.

They are in doom and gloom mode. Still not as bad as the Flyers board. 15 games into the season we had Fraude Giroux and he needed to be traded. |
