twice now crosby is finding gibbons. cmon dude. its there.

the bortz scuds combo is getting hemmed in a bit.

good save by fleury. hopefully that gives him some confidence

I stand by the statement that Gibbon only asset is speed. Fast enough to get in the way.

That was a really late call, but its the right call.

Pens can take a ton of momentum if they can kill this.

Lol

I was just gonna say Neal always does something to kill offensive momentum...makes an ok drop pass to Malkin....

Oh and

Takes a 4 min high sticking penalty

Bennett > Gibbons. Id like to see more of that.
- thickman1178

Does Bennett play the right side or left?

I really hate James Neal. I think he has worn out his welcome. Cant win Cups with guys like that. He's a chicken-sh*t player.

And for those of you getting ready to type "But, he's a 35 goal scorer under a good contract! You cant trade him!", save it.

im inclined to agree. dude just doesnt have hands, regardless of his college stats.

still though, loving him on the powerplay and in a nuisance role with his speed.

Pens have some calls coming. Thats why this kill is very important. It will kill the Rangers momentum if they don't score.

i am inclined to agree with the latter part as well. hopefully they can.

i hope the pens do have some calls "coming". but even if thats the case, it still highlights my issue with nhl officiating.

bennett has definitely impressed me. hes impressed me to the point that i kind of see the logic of needing him on that third line though.

The Pens will have a surge in the 3rd at the exact time when the Refs decide to put the whistles away. Book it.

They are due for a couple of second period power plays though if the refs follow the usual script.

I hate nhl officiating, either way...well especially when its against the Penguins.

Sid really needs to stop diving into those headshots...its embarrassing.

This league is a joke... Marc Staal, who missed basically a whole season of hockey from concussions, decides to cross check Crosby in the head. Then Pierre waxes poetic about it being "old school hockey'.

Fleury! It's a shame Gibbons couldn't handle that wide open 6x4 a minute ago.

I can't believe Pierre still has a job. Virtually no fan-base can stand him. Cross check to the head is "old school hockey".....what a tool.

Adam Gretz ‏@AGretz
When Scuderi was on the ice in the first at ES Pittsburgh was outshot 6-0. Without him it was 5-4 Pittsburgh.

He does have a quick little wrist shot. Im surprised he hasn't locked down a top 6 spot. I figured it would be Neal, Kunitz, Jokinen and Bennett as the wingers in the top 6 this season.
