Nash will bring us back with his patented 2ft inside the blue line wrist shot into fleury's chest . This is scary bad. |

You can win without a power play. You can't win when you score 2.44 goals a game. That number is plummeting by the way. - tomburton99
Yeah so let's all give up on them. This way we don't get our hearts broken. |

They were never down once in that series. You get down a goal in the second period of a series tied at one and it turns into a damn cute little cuddly kitten convention in here. It a franking tie series against a team that is supposed to beat the Rangers and all you frankers do is whine and female dog and moan. Seriously? Buck the (frank) up all of you. Then at least if they lose, you can at least take solace in the fact that I didn't quit on my team in game (frank)ing 3 of a tie series. Bunch of (frank)ing pussies! You should be ashamed of yourselves.
And Bo, please ban me and block (frank)ing view to this site, so I don't have to suffer the quit anymore. - Pete V
They keep walking the tightrope, and its gonna haunt them. Sit in your cushy couch in Michigan and judge me, I spent over 1500 bucks this season to see 3 wins and 10 losses, including 2 playoff losses, dont think you can judge me for being frustrated at losing when we had an opportunity to win. |

You're going to miss a 3-2 OT classic win by the Rangers. - Blueshirts4ever
So true, but if I stay its a guaranteed 2-1 loss. Take one for the team? |

Well said. It was disgraceful reading the poop some were saying after the game 6 loss in round 1. Some need to step back from the ledge. Rangers might not win the series but the fans of 22 other teams wish they were in our position right now |

This is far far far from perfect. I have been a staunch defender of this team all year, but you cannot blow 4 chances to take a 2 game lead an expect to survive. Too much risk, and tonight we are getting beat by a better team. Bad bounces, yes, but we wouldn't be having this conversation if we had capitalized in the past.
I am not a knee-jerk guy who hates on everyone for not being Gretzky. But if you cant see how bad we have blown it, you are not an optimistic fan, you are a moron. - AgraipVigneaurd
I guess I'm a moron then for not quitting on them. What exactly have they blown? It's game 3. Worst case scenario tonight we are down 2-1. |

Last 4 cup winners have had at least 2.75 goals per game. You can't win if you never score and you don't win if you can't end a series in a decent amount of time. You can label me what ever you wan't. Not gonna change the fact the Rangers can't score, specially can't score in the playoffs. They waste game from Lundqvist like they did last night and come back to muster up a little bit more than nothing. I know, I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. |

I understand irrational negativity is wrong, and it bothers me too. But the facts are, blowing chances to take control of a series hurt the teams chances. That is indisputable. So sure the Rangers may come back and win this series, but there is no precedent for this team winning in anything less than 7, and no precedent for a team winning the Cup with two Game 7s in the first two rounds. Maybe we make history, but forgive me for not holding my breath. |

2-0 is not insurmountable. I refuse to believe the Rangers are going to be held down for two straight games. They are going to bust out, big rally coming. !!! |

The blog has always been this way ever since i have been here. Some people handle adversity differently. It is what makes us a dysfunctional family on here. Not 2 people are the same. I just let people be who they want to be. |

Game 2.

Game 6.
Game 2.
Blown opportunities.
We are down 2-1 yes, but watching the games, unless there is a major turnaround we won't beat this team. Yes, that may happen, but it is not likely. Just pointing that out, no need to get sensitive. |

Rangers outshot Pittsburgh 9-1 in final 7 minutes of the 2nd period, were outscored 1-0 in that span.

Again, #Rangers haven't been shut out in back-to-back playoff games since final two games of Stanley Cup Final vs Detroit in 1937.
