You really are the best. Plus you're funny in times of great distress. - tomburton99
The reason we come here, cause we all care. We all want the Rangers to win. Some people just need to vent more then others.
Plus I would rather Cranny vent on here then take it out on his house. No holes in walls please |

I understand irrational negativity is wrong, and it bothers me too. But the facts are, blowing chances to take control of a series hurt the teams chances. That is indisputable. So sure the Rangers may come back and win this series, but there is no precedent for this team winning in anything less than 7, and no precedent for a team winning the Cup with two Game 7s in the first two rounds. Maybe we make history, but forgive me for not holding my breath. - AgraipVigneaurd
I'm in your boat. I admit this team is far from a serious contender, but theres exciting times ahead for the rangers now that they actually have an attainable vision. I know they are struggling now, as recently shaken off demons tend to rear their heads in the playoffs, but AV knows what he needs after a full year with this crew. Rangers will be an offensive force next season, book it. |

Game 2.
Game 4.
Game 6.
Game 2.
Blown opportunities.
We are down 2-1 yes, but watching the games, unless there is a major turnaround we won't beat this team. Yes, that may happen, but it is not likely. Just pointing that out, no need to get sensitive. - AgraipVigneaurd
My point is every team blows opportunities at some point. As long as we take advantage of the majority of them(which we've done thus far) then we will be ok. |

Agree 100%. This playoffs has been a major disappointment, however. |

The 5 games that we've won so far. Do they count or are they just taken for granted? |

so winning 50% of the games is taking advantage of opportunities? low standards, i guess. I am not denying they won a round, but they have no done any favors, other than that, in a chase for the cup.50% doesnt win a cup, not even close. they survive, they don't take advantage, there is a difference. |

If you think the Rangers are winning this series, credit to you. But trying to be objective, I dont see it. If that is a problem for you, sorry. |

the rangers have been a team that "survives" since I can remember. I have never actually witnessed a rangers team that takes advantage of opportunities. AV has good potential to change this though. |

I'm sitting in my car listening to this because I can't watch anymore, I bleed this team and all I ever get is depressed, I can't muster any belief - cranford93
I know bro, I was so positive and high energy during the Flyers series. This one seems like inevitable Ranger doom. Worst part is I hate Pittsburgh so much more than Philly. Can we consistently score goals for once in my lifetime? I was 7 in 94, wayyyy too young. Just no scoring no PP the last 16 years.
I shoulda turned this off and threw on The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. At least I woulda been going to bed happy. |

How many times have they missed a chance to go up 2 games in the last 3 years? How many PPs in a row have failed?
I dont know how you could expect a bigger sample size in the playoffs. And even with this sample size 0% success is still way way way outside the normal deviation for it not to be a trend rather than random.
Spend the next few hours flipping a coin 13 times and see if you hit the same side each time. Please, 13 blown chances in a row, dont sample size me. |

Rangers have controlled play for most of the game. Not that you could tell that by some if these comments. |

Your being too kind, they are totally irrelevant. I'm having a really hard time seeing what some of you guys are so optimistic about, are we watching the same game?? |
