I know bro, I was so positive and high energy during the Flyers series. This one seems like inevitable Ranger doom. Worst part is I hate Pittsburgh so much more than Philly. Can we consistently score goals for once in my lifetime? I was 7 in 94, wayyyy too young. Just no scoring no PP the last 16 years.

I shoulda turned this off and threw on The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. At least I woulda been going to bed happy.

It's still a pretty small sample size buddy. But don't let me ruin your pity party.

I've been a fan since I was 5, this is year 30 and 29 have felt the same on the end, rage isn't even an option at this point, AV is a good coach but this group isn't good enough, they can't even out play a team and win

Rangers have controlled play for most of the game. Not that you could tell that by some if these comments.
- nookie649

True, but in terms of scoring chances, not as tilted as you make it out to be. Add to that our lack of finish, and you get the real story of the game.

How many times have they missed a chance to go up 2 games in the last 3 years? How many PPs in a row have failed?

I dont know how you could expect a bigger sample size in the playoffs. And even with this sample size 0% success is still way way way outside the normal deviation for it not to be a trend rather than random.

Spend the next few hours flipping a coin 13 times and see if you hit the same side each time. Please, 13 blown chances in a row, dont sample size me.

Your all over the place right now. If I make a comment about games played don't assume I'm also talking about the PP. I don't care what the rangers from 3 years ago did because this is a whole new team. Let's just agree to disagree and end this conversation because it's getting nowhere.

Yeah I mean I understand the game is tighter than it's been in years past, but we always seem to fizzle out.

Not saying this ones over, we'll see how game four looks, but I just wanted to see them seize the opportunity!

The fact that they are outplaying them is why I still have some optimism.

Alright bro enjoy your blind faith, i envy you. There is a point where that ends with me, if you cant respect that, its your problem. Just know it is not backed in irrationality. I have a logical opinion here, not a knee-jerk reaction. You may disagree or feel differently and I respect that too, just try to be tolerant and not control other peoples reactions.

getting shut out 2 games in a row is small time hockey. Sather needs to really listen to AV's demands this summer to fix this offense. Getting embarrassed like this is bad for the team culture going forward. The team is missing two things. A big tough enforcer, and a goal scorer. I no longer consider Nash a goal scorer as he has repeatedly shown he is not here to win.

(frank) this crowd. Leaving with 3 min left after being quiet all (frank)ing game. Way to destroy our home ice advantage.

Was pretty loud up here until we ended yet another PP with a goal to the guy leaving the box. It is tiring being loud for 3 hours with nothing to cheer for. Nornally critical of the crowd at MSG, but cant fault them tonight.

Scotty Hockey even behaved for a period and a half
