Actually this could set up perfectly. Kreider will return and be the savior
- TPC

Buy out Richards and pay our boys. Five games in 7 nights has turned out with one less loss than the League intended. We have them right where we want them.

We haven't scored a goal in 2 games. We've had enough PP time to be a man up for more than a full game and havent scored.

(frank) stepan. (frank) nash. (frank) richards.

Slot stepan in on the 2nd line and sign stastny to be the 1st line center.

- rangerdanger94

Trade him, he's a slow skating no balls 3rd line center, Buy out Richards and hope Nash dies

I respectfully disagree on both assertions. I like this team.
- TJ

Common sense says this isn't going to better next year. Either Richards gets amnestied or the Rangers cut bait with Pouliot, Stralman, Boyle and D.Moore

You actually like being this small when it matters most? I thought I needed my head checked, what's good gets ruined by what's bad

Killing us for sure. Bring back Sullivan? Just kidding but fatigue is an issue and no time to adjust. Stepan and others are thinking slow. Maybe even AV. Win the next game and go from there. Pens are weak.

He's too slow and has no muscle, F him and his weak passes and weak shot, he's no better than Mike York

Fatigue is not an issue they out shot them and outplayed them bourbon the end it's the talent and the will, Pittsburgh had 1 more day off

I think I would have rather watched a Pitt vs Philly series than this gong show
- SouthernRanger

it would have been entertaining. the flyers-rangers series was 7 games of dreck.

Keep on the 2nd line. He's a top-6 forward, but not a guy that's going to be the center to lead his team to the Stanley Cup. It's simply FACT. He has never ONCE taken over a game in his entire career.

Anyone who ever laughed at an O'Reilly for Stepan hypothetical trade either A) has Stepan's Richard lodged up his ass B) Doesn't watch the Avs play enough to see how talented and dynamic O'Reilly is or C) All of the above.

And no, this is not a knee-jerk reaction. I've been advocating that Stepan isn't that guy all year long and even in the summer when people were ready to hand him a blank check for 8 years because I knew the lockout shortened season was an exception rather than the rule.

Richards has to be bought out. The rules changed with the recapture etc. and Sather must respond. It is a business and he had nothing to do with the new CBA. Let Bettman apologize to Richards.

What's wrong with Sather? When he has not gone and try to make the team better at any expense?

Rangers will be fine. AV has had a full year with this group of misfits and will surely guide Sather's decision making this summer. I think Nash is the biggest concern on the team. Stepan only concerns me if they don't get a 1st line center.

Duh! Coach Obvious. If he said it sooner he would have been fined. Ask Torts.

With 13 million in cap next and Malkin's NMC, why would either Pens or Malkin agree to that. Don't be an ass.

The Rangers losing is validation for their pathetic organization but next year yeah next year they're taking over the City with JT, Okposo and.......another top 5 pick
