I don't know. Just because Kreider is cleared doesn't mean he is healthy enough to shoot/stick handle and be effective. Realistically isn't McD medically cleared? Let's not forget how Zucc looked the first few games coming back from his hand injury.

Absolutely would like to see Diaz stay on the PP and Richards banished from the point. McD isn't healthy. Put Nash, Pouliot, or anyone else back there who isn't afraid to blast away and can step past that first defender if they go down to block the shot.

All understood. The McDonagh point. We don't know how hurt he is and he still might be hurt for all we know. Kreider brings the element of speed and size. The hope is tha he causes their D to back off and create space. Your main point is valid though. How much can we realistically expect?
